You are so beautiful Molly. (I would kill for your hair, lol.... oh and skin too!) ... anyway, we have done some work on the 5ww channel and are looking forward to resuming next week. Looking forward to your participation. You have a lot to offer - we need you! :-)
I am currently on cd 16, second round of Provera and Clomid. I have taken Provera 5 times in total while TTC and each period, I went though a super plus tampon PLUS a large pad in less than an hour, so I hear ya on the heavy period....good luck with everything...
yes i was on povera and it was soooooooo heavy and lastd 11 days and i put a babies dipper on but dont worry its normal and it means ur uterus is working dont worry
well my names jen, and i just got off the provera. last11/11 an i havent started my period? i was wondering if you could tell me how long it takes to have your period? as soon as i start my period an stop it i can start my clomid.
My doctor told me it could take up to 14 days after I finished the provera to start. She said if it went over 14 days I would have to go in for more blood work and start it again. Good luck to you!
I'm also on Provera AGAIN. And I just wanted to add to what everyone was saying. Usually if I go without a period for a few months then I have a heavy cycles like that. Also, Provera gives me mood swings. I can cry at the drop of a dime or just be p'd off over what usually would be nothing. Been TTC also 2 and 1/2 years. Tonight I take my last of ten days of Provera so hopefully I will start in a few days and then hopefully we will both get a BFP (BIG FAT POSITIVE) for Christmas.
hi my name is kendra and I take provera as well im not one to cramp I have always been heavy but that crap was awful and it brought on cramps and it still is horrible I once had a 2 week cycle from it lol my husband and I are ttc now and I have a couple test coming up soon do you know about a hysteroscopy? I would really appreciate any info you can give stay sweet stay positive and most of all be blessed
yea Provera was craptastic. I've never had a hysteroscopy but my mom did. She was actually put under for it as she had a lap done at the same time. I have heard though that it is similar to an HSG in the pain aspect (my HSG was really not that bad). Good luck to you on your journey!
yea, provera isnt fun. everytime my dr prescribes it to me she also throws in 400 ibuprofen which helps a ton. the bleeding thing, i think youll be fine. i remember starting it for the 1st time after a 6months of no period and i bled heavy for a whole month. so it will be okay. just relax and take it easy. goodluck and lots of babydust!!
Oh yeah, Provera gave me a horrible period. I made the mistake of mentioning it to my husband, TMI in his opinion:( I was scared. If you can figure out how to relax, please let me know....I suck at it! Even though generally I'm a happy go lucky person. But with TTC, it's like emotion overload. Thanks for the update!
Yea I have got to work on the relaxing! lol. I got a new ipod the other day and I find just putting my favorite music on and taking my dogs out for a walk helps. I used to love hot baths but my doc said thats a no no when TTC. Ugh! They take all the fun out of stuff! hehe
Of course I am serious about losing weight. And just to let you know, I was only 4 points over which is typical in women with PCOS and insulin resistance. There are tons of women who have full on diabetes before becoming pregnant who go on to have perfectly health pregnancies.

Provera is like a D & C but with a pill. Even more so when having PCOS. I hope you are well. Always

Provera makes me so sick. I get the hot flashes, heavy painful cycles along with a sore back and legs. Ugh... I really don't like Provera at all.
Best wishes and lots of baby dust.
