@D4L247 I think that because in mainstream hip-hop and other music that the notion of a one or new world order is kind of glorified and hinted at by the majority of artists who believe in A god but not THE God and Coffee is turning that idea of a new world order upside down and backwards with their True God inspired lyrics..... just a thought
I love PJ, but he does have songs like Crush where he talks about masturbating, and a song called "feelin so damn gangster". I do hope he still is a christian.
@mysonnewow I agree with you, but I do want to say that if he wants to be looked up to by kids for his more spiritual songs, he probably should stay away from lyrics that could be offensive. Then again, if he is aiming for a mature, "indie" audience, then he could put more edgy lyrics in his songs. Still one of the best rappers in the game
Is his music "anti-Christian"?? Must a musical artist do 100% Worship songs to be a Christian? Pigeon is a Christian and a musician. He writes catchy music about all types of things... including, BUT NOT LIMITED to his spiritual devotion.
...similar to GRITS, not all of GRITS joints are "Worship songs" either...
I know it's not all worship, but there are obvious hints that their christian in their music. On PJ's site a song called "girlies" he says "girlies hit me up because the homie is famous". Doesn't sound christian to me, imo.
No im saying it sounds prideful "cause the homie is famous" and a fact that he makes it a chorus in the song makes me feel iffy. Still, hopefully he has a relationship with God
Pigeon John has been on the rap scene for over 10 years now... he is considered a "popular underground artist" so, yeah... he has some famous friends... but I guess it's not "Christian" to mention that??
... that's what happens when you're semi-famous and you know some popular people... should he stop writing truthful lyrics to appease his "Christian audience"??! ...c'mon, man... you're being a little ridiculous..
Nothing wrong with having famous friends i never said that.
Just wondering if he was a christian and God was working in his life, wouldn't he mention Christ alot more in his songs ? Christ should be his everything right ? I'm just discerning the dude bible does say you'll know them by their fruits.
@hollatchaboiy I feel ya on this 1. People need 2 step off Christians in music. We Christian r human 2. Don't all have 2 b deep "spiritual" stuff. I've no respect any1 who does'nt come real.

@iaya97 The "Gangster" song is very obviously a satire.
