1.  Dan 9 regarding the "people of the prince who is to come will destroy the sactuary" is not talking about 70 AD. In vs 27 it says "He will confirm a covenant" meaning vs 26 is clearly talking about the Antichrist and not Titus. The "people of the prince who is to come" are the Antichrist's people, most likely Muslims.

So the premise from 40 to 54 seconds on the video IMO is not very sound, with all due respect to Hal, who is a great man of God.

Your suggestion for Christians is sensible if Christianity is just a big fable and is of no value to the world other than its positive values, but what you don't acknowledge is the possibility that Christianity is in fact truth. If the Bible is in fact God's word, then we are told to look for the signs of the end. If God did not want us to be aware of the events of end of the world, then there would have been no mentions of such things in the scriptures, and certainly no book of Revelation.

I didn't hear Lindsey say that, but did hear him speak of @ 5:46 "political power blocks that make up the last 7 years of history before Christ returns." Prophecies' 7 year period is not length of Antichrist's rule so much as its a period of time decreed for Israel ("the 70th week of Daniel", a/k/a "the Tribulation") that starts when Antichrist confirms a covenant w/ Israel...but that doesn't mean that's when Antichrist's world rule begins.
