But at the same time, it says that the grace of God is not an excuse to go off sinning knowing that you will be forgiven. Yes, people will sin and be forgiven their sins, but it doesn't mean they should use that as an excuse to keep sinning, even if it is a part of Gods plan. Faith without works is dead.

@TheMarsht Yes but if he has already planned out the death of everybody wouldn't those decisions made by us that end in the death of an individual also be planned out by him since he already wanted that person dead in the first place. so god not only decides when people die, but he decides the decisions that people would make in order for the person he wants dead to die. @vitamincity Predestination was not the point I was trying to bring up. The Bible says in the book of James that works of the law are nothing if they do not have faith in Christ behind them. But at the same time, it says that the grace of God is not an excuse to go off sinning knowing that you will be forgiven. Yes, people will sin and be forgiven their sins, but it doesn't mean they should use that as an excuse to keep sinning, even if it is a part of Gods plan. Faith without works is dead.

How can his laws be taken as a metaphor? When God commands the killing homosexuals in Leviticus 20:13 does he mean that only as a metaphor? when he asks to put children who disrespect their parents to death in Leviticus 20:9 is that a metaphor? No. God, if he's real which i'm sure he's not, is an ass.

Why would God want them to follow the rules any differently than just the plain Jo-Schmo? People are supposed to follow all the rules in the bible plain and simple. Just because the people back then witnessed God more doesnt mean that they have to follow the rules anymore than the normal christians the bible doesnt specify that they had to. And the bible was written over a long period of time, those who may have witnessed gods earlier miracles were already dead by the time it was completed.

About a couple years ago I had some problems going on in my life. My Aunt who is my legal gurdian sent me to a camp like this one so I can be saved and for reason she thinks me being a Catholic is going to send me to hell. I have never felt more out of element when I was there. Sitting around people who are brainwashed and no thinkers for themselves. I think I was the only person who was pro-choice, supports sex marriage..Needless to say I wasnt very popular there are i wasnt saved. oh well :)

It does not reallly matter whether you believe in God or not. Not believing in God does not make him unreal???? He still exists whether you believe in Him or Not. The moment a embrio is formed it's attached to a soul, we are living in the last days and people should start to heed these warnings. People are going to be left behind. I don't believe in god, and there are many more people who don't either.
