this to me beats the original version, no question. It's far grander in scale, and gives a hell of a more 'epic' feel than the original did. Shame square won't change the version to this in xi :-(

i always beat bosses 6-4 levels below experts levels when they fight them (like i fought alexander and killed him at level 42 when some guy beat him in level 52 XD)

I never played FF11, so I first heard this song in Dissidia, but it's still awesome.

/shudder that music sends shivers down my spine. We had 3 really, really, really unlucky fights with the Shadow Lord not too long ago. Not something I care to repeat anytime soon.

when shadow lord get into magic mood i'll astral flow it,when he gets in to aoe mood i'll use vile elixirs if i have any more time on astral flow, and i buy an icarus wing and hope for a few weapon skills on the go, like that deadly staff weapon skill, ummm retributon ftw ^^

Nostalgia is both my favourite and least favourite emotion (it makes me long to do the said something again and experience what I had once experienced, which is sadly impossible...). That said, this song definately kicks the nostalgia button.

thankfuly when I did it we had a high level (though I was DCed for most of the battle, and had to reset twice as the first time my keyboard didt work, but I made it back in time to get the win.) helping us. :D
