This is one of the best-sounding chimes I've heard yet. Really deep and the lowest note of the actual chime is particularly deep and resonant. I've had one not unlike this. The rack for the strike was not original to my clock a repairer advised, or someone had mucked around with it, so I got a clock repairer to make a new one as the strike itself was unreliable and often it continued to strike, possibly annoying neighbours when I had a flat in Edinburgh as the sound carried.

Tingilyawen, the westminster chime on clocks are a very british thing, the chime goes back to when britian was a empire, long before all this nonsence of political correctness

I've always loved hearing the Westminster chimes, especially from an antique clock. I've also heard clocks play Ave Maria and Whittington chimes. Have you heard any other songs from clocks?
