Wonderful playing - as always - but I will take issue with one chord, as I feel it's pivotal to the tonality of the song. The G chord on the 8th bar of each verse should have a B as its bass note, not a G. ON the assumption that you're using an open D tuning, the 'correct' chord (is there such a thing?) would be open G, open D, second fret on the A string. Sorry, but that to me is one of the most beautiful elements on the tune. Just one person's humble opinion....

This is one of my favorite songs, and your arrangement is deeply moving, Mr. Stotzem.

At first I was surprised by how different this piece sounds from the original version by Sting--especially since the first cover I heard you play on YouTube was "With Or Without You," and it sounded so similar to the original U2 version. However, you play with piece such feeling that you make the song your own. Thank you for putting your music on iTunes; I just bought this song!

dude I learned your song, but one thing, how the heck do you get that tapping sound after you do the tap harmonics in the intro while wearing a thumb pick? It almost sounds like your thumb slapping the 6th string...
