  • its called "THE ELEGANT SOLUTON"

it is based on the idea that a design can push the margins liimiting designs toward the maximum posable.

intrinsic dualism means that whatever i add here i take away somewhere else therefore nothing i do ever works.

Another way of looking at it is the path of diminishing returns as ploted on a graph two lines of cost and benefit eventualy cross. elegant design is to plot thees lines all the way across the graph until thy cross at a maximized position

  • VERY SIMPLE BUT VERY INGENIOUS!

  • Clever

  • I've been using these vibration effects to power mag-drive cars (replacing the present battery static locale types). See UTube "Mag Air Vibe Gen" for a sample using both his devices here ( but output fan changed into Air Turbine Generator).

  • hum- DINGER??!!!

  • I would like to see this technology applied to and tested with guard-rails along the I-5 freeway. Make that happen and you'll have a viable large scale use for this technology. Any noise pollution? Very interesting...

  • they must give him the Nobel!

  • @711131719 they'd rather give it to a politician that has done nothing more than get elected cuz hes black..

    btw...im black.

  • @565Customz I agree, you're right is the reality but now is up to us to emphasize smart ideas that create a critical mass capable of influencing public opinion

  • @711131719 wood gas! hello! more btu ! in ww2 they used woodgas to run their trucks

  • @ncbookz I agree, in Italy during the II WW military cars were powered by wood gasifiers, we advance in this technology because it is a piece of environmental sustainability. Do not forget that today's world requires a lot of electric current and the wind belt, after proper development, may represent an alternative cost effective and a better impact on the landscape of current wind generators, wind belt is a wonderful evolution of technology , she is a piece of the puzzle of eco..sustainability

  • @711131719 FREE ENERGY IS THE PATH BUT THAT MIGHT GET MY LITTLE ASS KILLED CAN NOT SAY MUCH BUT, CAR ALTERNATOR 3 BLADE 1 TO 8 ALTERNATOR PER UNIT 30 TO 200 DOLLARS CHEAP GREEN ENERGY BY THE WAY I PLAN TO USE A SMALL GENERATORS TO POWER THE ELECTRIC MAGNET IN SIDE THE CAR ALTERNATOR .THE BLADE IS REAL ADVANCES AND CHEAP UNDER $50 1 HR TO MAKE IT . EASY TOO.

  • This would be cool to let you know what the wind is like outside. Attach to a baffle in drive way can alert the deaf of possible visitor. Attach to air/weight under window in ground to set off alarm on home alarm weight rated 80lbs or more to prevent small animal false alerts. Integrate to alarm interior to sound alert and prevent most would be intruders from attempting a break-in. Under lawn crook steps on lawn alarm sends audible signal you have been photographed and police see you now.

  • I wonder how much electricity can be produced by catching bugs with a sticky pad on your generator. Catch locust or what ever I am sure they struggle for quite a while. Can this be used to generate in freeway areas where cars are generating a constant wind? Ground tremors induced by traffic could that be generated too. Hey sub 100w that can power the cheap computer, led lighting, radio. Besides we use transformers to drop voltage to 9v 4.5 many items in the home are powered in this range.

  • Please refrain from comments until you can communicate in a responsible and respectable manner. Also, use a dictionary at all times.

  • Antimoron08,

    You forgot your dictionary.

  • your as funny as you are smart.. thanks for the reminder

  • You did it again! Remember, you mustn't forget your dictionary next time.

  • Did you consider the idea to build a frame of enough belts like this - you should know how many are required- in order to be mounted in front of a radiator in a vehicle and the power harvested to run a HHO generator?

  • i see some bullshit and alot of money spend in lies to people to keep down real energy and keeping students down, this is crap and dumb down a real earth energy, this is all old tech how comical, but it does work back in the 40's nothing new

  • i tell you but nevermind your so far off on crude and big, is nice you do this but and works but is crude. less is more, energy you should put out get twice back and in the bridge you did not,, well frequency the wind and need no wind can make wind where there is no wind no resinense of there of a pulse of pure, very simple i cant say more, this wind and all is a funny thing is old old tech think is new lol so funny, energy from thin air no air this is old tech like 70 years ago

  • CONGRATULATION ! FANTASTIC INVENTION ! I must to pun one in my nose ...I produce electricity all my life !!! LOL ...joking ...GREAT STUFF !

  • Outstanding ! Nice work !

  • I halted this video at 07:24, where the cost constraint was $10.

In 1990, at the Glastonbury International Arts Festival, a 'Wigwam' harmonic oscilation belt turbine was demonstrated. The components were as follows:-

    (1) A Pole

    (2) A plastic 'Hoola Hoop'

    (3) Ribbons

    (4) Pegs (Skewars/Tent Pegs)

    (5) Magnets inside coils [inside 'Hoola Hoop']

    (6) Super-Capacitors (instead of batteries)

Power generation functions like the ubiquious shake-torches. 'Hoola' half way up 'wigwam'

    ;-)

  • Buat as the usan wants all the credits for all, they claim it as their invention

  • The 'Sail Surfboard' was granted a patent, it was vigorously enforced. OK to make your own Sailsurfer, but not to market them!:-(

Then one dude started marketing Sail Surfboards without paying royalties. The Lawyers pounced like wolves!

He just laughed all the way to court, over the years he had collected travel brochures, magazines etc. from prior to the Patent Application, clearly showing sails on surfboards. Patent claims are broad, exposure of 'Prior Art' limits the patent's scope!;-)

  • Congratulations, it's a very good idea. I don't speak English, and I couldn't understand all the exposition. How can I get this conference in written? I live in a developing country, I'm interesting in this sistem for Colombia.

    Thank you very much Shawn.

  • Sounds like a twist on a wave generator, brilliant :)

  • Has using pizo crystals been attempted? THey make electricity when stressed/moved...

  • Once again I feel like such an idiot. I thought of this when I was around 12 while riding a bike with a very fat rubber band stretched across my handlebars. It made a sweet bass note when I pedaled fast. About a week later I imagined something similar to this in my head. Thats my problem, I have literal volumes of ideas written down over the last 8-15 years and I never tell anyone about them. Ill likely die with a few very good ideas in an old sketchbook never to be seen again. Great vid!

  • this kids awesome, its such a perfect and powerful technology, thanks again google for helping support scientific progress.

  • what about in streams? can you vibrate

    belts in streams?

    what about flapping flags.

  • chech out the tesla turbine, it would be the best way to get energy from the steam plants, it works on surface tension and very efficient over the impulse blades. the invention was made by nikola tesla and its about 100 yrs old now.

  • It's a revolution, booyaka! Go Shawn!

  • Good job, Shawn.

Keep working. We can free some wallet money from those comercial gangsters that don´t share anithing, to our poor people that has no money to light a bulb to read a old book.

    Thank you.

  • Farmers were using methane accumulators over 80 years ago to make natural gas. (to go with this "chicken crap" comment) Uncle Ned may have been one of the guys that did that! lmao

  • This "kid" is making our future.

We doesnt need to be controlled like horse anymore. The centralized power over people will fall anytime now. This tecnology can be made by China.Sorry to say that, nothing you could do, will make you fell confortable again about your power today.

  • Is something the least stupid people that dont believe in Perpetual motion can rely.

  • Physics is physics. Any freshman can use what they know to show on paper that this idea is lame. Please educate yourselves in the basics first. This is most important. Creative thinking and breaking out of the mold still requires legitimate knowledge about nature.

  • Colin Kapp wrote about a similar generator in his 1964 SF story "The Subways of Tazoo"

  • 3 words "Marketing, Marketing and Marketing" heehee

  • I was thinking, If the ribbon was spun at 8mph in the air, it would make power, with no wind.

  • but you would be using power to spin it...
