have you applied a motor to it yet? mine isn't a vertical, ad hauls butt till I add the 1 to 5 gear ratio to it and the motor. I had an idea since it's easier to reduce the gears from 5 to 1 than 1 to 5, we should be able to use a pully system that gradually uses the gears to pull up a 100lb weight with ease, and hit a lever to drop, while producing enough rpm to charge a battery bank, this way all of the wind is utalized for power at some point as a cycle, instead of relying on high wind only
"That's Lady GaGa's big fat head?" LOL. I remember the days when we would pretend to be somebody else, as children. I just notice a lot of things. I didn't mean to detract from the wind turbine. Nice work. I especially like the use of common materials like the office chair. Maybe your neighbors will recognize it as a practical and functioning work of art? Hopefully they'll be Chillin' and see it as Fashion, the Second Time Around? Don't let them read your Poker Face.
Yes you are right Mr Ghurd is a guru of wind power, I like his honesty up front type of guy, he says he never watches my videos but I know he does even just for a laugh, or when no one is looking(lol), if you see this mr ghurd, hello buddy how are you, anyway cheers for comments

Nice utilization of the office chair for a support. By the way, it sounds like someone there likes Lady GaGa?
