How to play AlterOps / OPEN BETA !

@qualemjones No, you have to use the MP Rip from AlterIW or download the game through torrent and apply the update from the alterOps site.

@DarknessGeass well... i waited for the update to finish then i double clicked the `blackopmp`. it told me to put username and pass in. I did it then it said. `ERROR EXE. NOT FOUND` I think it probably meant the blackopmp thing. then i tried it loads of times more than it said nothing and nothing wpuld come up!

@TheKlodster Try using the version I linked in the video description and don't use any updates (patches) other than the update that aOps starts installing. If it doesn't work, try an aOps ripped version or vice-versa. For all I know, it could be your install disc was corrupt or the alterOps server was down while you were downloading the update through the alterops exe. In either case, try these suggestions and tell me of the results

@DarknessGeass Its all right. Your video was helpful, i liked and subbed. Why? Cause i managed to use my SKIDROW torrent and my black ops mp , single and zombies was working. Its alright. Your video was cool cause at least you got it and made other people get it. Keep up the good work!

@DarknessGeass ive downloaded everything but when i put run as administrator it says something about about the binkw32.dll. pls help

@Cog115 You don't have Bink Video Codec installed (which is most of the time supported by many game installers, even Black ops...) but if you don't have it, you can google it and there will be results to download it. Just place it in the folder with the exes and try again.

when i start the game , everything is ok , i had those blue thing on the up-right corner like you , ut when i click play , it says its connecting , then it gives me an error saying steam is unavailable or something , how can i fix it , please!!

@guitarherohitman Check your ports if they are open. If they are , I don't know ... the aIW team isn't giving support at this time since it's a BETA version

@Anaraa72 Make sure you use a clean copy of the game , no updates , no fixes , no cracks as I mentioned in the video. If all else fails , try reinstall

@Anaraa72 Download , install , place the alterops.exe and dll in the alterops.rar that you get from their website into the folder where you installed the game , run alterops.exe as admin and let it update. If all else fails , even re-install, wait for an official patch from the aOps team

@Anaraa72 As I said , always check the alterops website (link in the description) to see if the server is down , at maintenance or any updates are being applied.

@Anaraa72 If you are on a router , try going to your settings and open the ports for Black Ops. I don't know which ones exactly they are but you can ask uncle google :)

@TheThejocker5 The download depends on the region you are at. There is an alternate link but only to the exe and dll , not to the update that comes with the exe. That is because the alterops.exe replaces about 50% of the game with the files needed for the server and downloads the DLC. I am sorry , but you will have to wait .

@Nicksmith1482 If you are having connectivity issues , I suggest you go check their website (the alterops one) I put in the description. There you will see feeds from the latest tweets such as "Server Maintenance" or "Update in progress". Or you can see the server status in the middle , this morning it was offline but now it's back up

@supersneaky113 AlterOps is still in its BETA development , so you can only play Multiplayer. On the good side - you can play all the DLC maps

@boredutuber757 Most possibly , yes. I can't say for sure , I am not a part of the alter team. It's BETA so they aren't offering any support such as links , server updates, etc. but in the future you might just have to download a ripped version
