Very informative video!Harnessing solar energy will result in significant energy savings. This is the prime reason consumers are turning to renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. It is estimated that solar energy could generate 2.5 percent of the world's electricity by 2025. Transformer company, Pacific Crest Transformers is also working in this direction. It manufactures energy-efficient transformers for wind energy farms.
Well if solor technology is ANYTHING like internet technology, it will do nothing but go UP in price. They will spend so much in reseach, they will want a fortune for it, just like any other industry. So its worthless technology.
I invented a breakthrough source of energy, which contradicts the law of conservation of energy. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which contradict the law of energy conservation. It will cost about $1200 to make a 6 kW generator in mass production. Value of the energy produced yearly about $5400. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents.
Everyone's talking about the solar deal that's going on @ Solar-Deals(.)com. 3 x 6 Evergreen Solar Cells for $0.70 per watt. Starting at $149.99! It's better then on ebay and cheaper!
The special deal is limited and only 30 days left! Just thought, I'd let you know.
Here's a recipe for you GE. Sliver Cell solar Panels on a car, plus Air Tanks, running a rotary air engine, running a generator, that charges the batteries for night driving, and refills the air using a compressor The car uses electric motors in each wheel. Forget Hybrid, lets lose petrol all together. Electric-Solar-Air. I call it ESA, cause it's so freaking Easy. We have the tech, what we need is people like me, to get the recipe right from existing ingredients. Lets say Up Yours to Oil CEO's.
When it says 2 watts it means that over an hour 2 watt hours are produced. To make 1 kwh, you need 500 cells in the sun for 1 hour (assuming a radiance of 1000watts per square meter). To calculate the overall output of a cell you need your daily radiance per square meter in your region. For example, in colorado, 500 cells would make 5.54 kwh because our daily radiance is 5.54 watts per square meter.
It produces 2 watts at any given moment in time. That is the "rate" at which it can produce electricity WHEN it is producing electricity. It is a 2 watt cell whether the sun is shining or not. If the sun shines on it for one hour then it will produce the "quantity" of 2 watt-hours. If the sun shines on it for 1000 hours then it will have produced 2 kilowatt-hours(kWh). Watts is the "rate" that it can produce, watt-hours is the total "quantity" that it did produce over time.
I understand the manufacturing process, hence the reason I'm asking why it's so expensive. The sand is heated to it's melting point, just like bottles. Of course there's more involved in SP than with a bottle, however even with the additional cost of copper and other metals, the overall cost should be relatively inexpensive. I also understand the need to recoup the R&D but this is ridiculous. All of the materials used to make solar panels is readily available and plentiful. My question remains..
We already have panels as shingles, by the guy who formerly designed batteries for GM. Working closely on the EV1. I don't remember his name off hand but it's good to note they are not the only ones working on it
i agree. half cost means solar panel prices could - theoretically would come down, there are webpages that already sell solar (photovoltaic) panels lower than typical cost,
this excites me greatly; now do the same for wind power please!

Sir, I want to know the second cell that u have shown in the video. It is a silicon make or some thing else. If so then please let me Know.

When is says a cell produces 2 watts. Does that mean 2 watts per second, minute or hour?

2 watt is the potency of the cell, thats energy per second so: 2 Watts = 2 Joules / 1 Second
the thing that matters here is the amount of energy that this cells can produce which is measured in Watts per hour ( Energy = Potency * 3600 seconds)
Liam2020 2 years ago
a watt is already a rate it means a joule per second

Why are these silicon based panels so expensive to make when they are made from the second largest abundant substance on earth?
The only other substance that is more abundant would be oxygen.
Mixman77 2 years ago
It costs a lot because to take it from sand or other sources it has to be processed. This can be very complex and expensive.

Nice video.
Good information.
But China is producing cheap solar panels that are available now.
Some of these solar panels are on EBAY. How could USA compete, when Chinese labor are so cheap?

said many times b4 on better videos , in short you suck ass , why dnt u make a solor suit and walk rd all day collecting power
kevbro321 4 years ago
you dont know what you're talking about
yes, it's already been stated in other videos that solar panels can produce more electricity than typical solar panels
but not like this
this is a manufacuring proces that makes the panels smaller yet efficiently producing the same amount of electricity
n00b
before you go around dissing what you obviously dont know shit about
perhaps you should do some research.
and i dont friggin mean watching some video on youtube you n00b.
in short you suck ass.
