  • My grand-father was in the air-force and is paralyzed right now. I truly love him and want his service never to be forgotten

  • @StevieChannel they represent by what? its called deception. dont be blind. who knows maybe tomorrow, another good story will be aired on tv, and let me remind you, not all you've seen in tv is true, specially those who sez by politicians, you know what in? its called BUSINESS... in politics, its called common interest. :D

  • @StevieChannel thats why most politician has their share in spoils of war...

  • @StevieChannel dont you know George bush Jr who is a democrat is also a dictator? when he trick the american people that iraq has a weapon of mass destruction?... not all belief in democratic idea is absolute, sometimes too much freedom encourage authoritarian-ship like the time of Bush administration.

  • @StevieChannel No millions had died because of the occupation and war started by USA, the whole problem with diveded Korea origins from that. If you dont belive me you can check with the South Korean Truth and Reconciliation Commission. North Korea had not killed millions BUT USA and the South Korean fascist regimes had. You think South are the "good" and north "bad" because south is better off today? North was better than south before the collaps of the eastern bloc that made North isolated.

  • @StevieChannel South Korea was nothing else than occupied area who the real korean government ("North Korea") together with the korean people (in guerillas) in the south fougth to liberate from USA and the fascist regime installed in South. Also the US/south regime had already had started the war and also massacred the people in hundreds of thousands. This war was about The korean people (North Korea and the guerrillas) against one of the worst dictatorship ever created by US occupation.

  • @ JAQUEOBAUER And if the generals were presidents, there wouls be millions of dead innocent people throughout the entire world. Nuking places are killing innocent civilians; farmers, workers. Dont say shit about the enemy military, people live there too. Wpuld you want to live in a place without doing anything wrong and get nuked due to a reign. I think not you fucking retard.

  • Recently posted an odd original song about the few Canadians flying Sabres with USAF in the Korean War

  • My grandpa was in the Korean or Vietnam war I don't remember i don't know much about my grandpa he was one of the marines in one of those wars. Gladly he's still alive.:D

  • Clint eastwood is one of the most famous Korean war veterans.

  • My grandfather was in the Korean war during the early years, and in Vietnam two times. He served from 1947-1968. He retired a Major. He acts and (says he feels) like he is 30 years old, but he is 81.

  • My Grandpa went to this war but when he arrived the war was over.

  • We should have Niked Communist China when we had the chance. General Macarthur was right, and the president was wrong. Look at how different the world would be today if we had took out the Chicoms--No Vietnam war, no Chinese threat, a unified Korea. Presidents do stupid things. Leave war to the Generals --in fact they make better Presidents too. Just think if a General was where Obama is now. Iran would be a smoldering pile of dead Mullahs, Afghanastan would be free of Taliban.

  • How we love to inflict pain on our beunders

  • My grandfather drove ducks in the navy during this war. He never talked about his experiences and I'll never know what he did.

  • My Grandfather served in the Marine Corps during the conflict as a radio comm man and I've been told there are some radio calls from him in some Doc's

  • wats up with 0:35

  • I've never been able to laugh at those slogans scrawled on bombs...

Great video though. The B-26 is such an amazing craft.

Even though I was eight years old, I got to meet him one x-mas.

    These people shouldn't be forgotten.

  • Sad thing that it is the "Forgoten War"

  • My father flew recon missions over Korea was wounded. Died in 1990 and never received even a flag on his casket. Forgotten.

  • My grandfather was a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. He won a purple heart that he never accepted because he didn't want his wife to worry and he was a demolition expert. He came home to be the county sheriff.

  • My dad was a Sniper in this war, he's 80 now. And he still walks around like he's 20, it's scary.

  • @EdwardXVI lol xDD

  • @EdwardXVI haha so true my dad also whent to that war and he is 83 now :)

  • @EdwardXVI really? say hello to your dad..

  • @EdwardXVI if i hit him with a baseball bat 20 times will he still walk like that?

  • @aquafishsoup I doubt you would be able to hit him with a bat, he carries at least three knives with him at all times of the day.

  • @EdwardXVI what about if i saw his right leg off will he still walk like he's 20?

  • @aquafishsoup Same concept would apply.

  • @EdwardXVI what if he's dead can he still walk?

  • @EdwardXVI Good for him. He sends a message that you don't have to be infirm just because you are older!!!

  • im pretty sure that wasnt a real troop assignment, mabey sniper seems more likely.

  • Just a time out while we develop our cruise missiles and stealth bombers... get ready Kim Jong

  • shame this war ended in truce instead of total victory

  • war never ended. it's only cease fire

  • North Korea withdrew from that cease-fire a couple months ago.

  • ya that's kind of true. the 38th is like a match box right now.

  • You can blame China for that.

  • That was wack.

  • My father enlisted at 17, became radio intercepter & FO,.. said the "chinese" pilots (alleged), when confronted or getting chased by US planes would start speaking frantic russian.... also found some big (dead) russian pilots crammed into "chinese" uniforms, (when they were shot down).. which was often..... and they had a chance to retrieve wreckage from Migs....... his best friend was fighter pilot, who was afraid of heights LOL

  • Not a war a police conflict..lol...Tell that to the G.I.'s THAT DIED!

  • stealing women lol

do not underestimate south korean girl..

they know how to fight lol

  • Oddly enough, this war did not end! A truce was called. Both sides sit with guns pointed at each other and little spats break out. This has been going on since 1951. And yes I believe it could turn ugly soon. The North (Badguys) just called off all contact with the South (Goodguys). North has been stealing women from the South...for reasons...? No good will come of this.

  • if i was a north korean man, i'd try to "steal" a south korean girl too. those girls are hot! (and they have more money than the poor ass north korea girls)

  • Good one..

  • R>I>P Grandfather.. What you did there makes me Proud..

  • what i seen at the news it looks like the koreans may kick it off again

  • My granduncle served during the Korean War and he still clearly remembers crossing the 38th parallel in pursuit of the retreating North Koreans.

  • My grandfather was in the Korean War.

  • is he still alive?

  • my grandpa was in the korean war to, he survived it and so did his brother but my grandfather died 8 years ago

  • About half way through this video there are bombers attacking Korea. The skeleton on the side of the B-26 means they were with the 3rd Bomb Group (light), 13th Squadron. They were known as "The Grim Reapers". The Reapers originated in 1917. They are still flying today!

at some point a Navy Carrier squadron was given use of the skeleton. We didn't have carriers in 1917 so the 3rd Bomb Group had it first. They fought in New Guinea and Philippines in World War 2.

  • were though cousair takeing off at the beging?

  • yes, for planes to reach take off speed, they are catapulted from the carrier. the same method is used for today's carriers as well.

  • Yes Corsairs, and not only that, but they were still being manufactured during the war; not even the vaunted P-51 can claim that feat! Long live the Corsair!!
