@ryanperry90 The radio on the roof of the car is an Icom IC-2820H 2m/70cm FM mobile. It is D-Star capable, but I do not have the D-Star module installed. It's a great radio for FM satellite work, with two sets of volume/squelch/tuning knobs. I can adjust one VFO without affecting the other, and without having to move the "MAIN" band off the 2m VFO. 73! Patrick

Nice video!! And thanks for posting this, its great to see the other end of our QSO! I was running the same antenna (Elk log-periodic) here in California when we made contact, sitting in my backyard with the battery powere (2xFT817ND) system ... it's nice that we were both operating entirely portable!
