Loved Bond in this one. It was the first movie to really humanize him, what with his relationship with Paris, and that laugh at 2:18. Brosnan did a good job. Him, Connery, and Craig are my favorites. Dalton was good too, but Moore was too much of a playboy and not enough of a hardassed spy.

@tg72211 It had a targeting system to match the height of the cable. And I'm pretty sure that BMW may have had a hand in coming up with that gadget for the film.

@TraustiGeir They never actually showed that at all. My point is that that gadget was obviously thought of after the wire was. Example: The spikes for popping tires could be used in almost any pursuit scenario. So could the tire raiser. The wire cutter has a range of probably 1ft even if you assume it had a height finder. The scenario of a wire at that height is an unlikely one. It just takes me out of the scene to see the filmmakers got out of the wire with an otherwise useless gadget.
