hey whats up i am matthew and i just want to say ur video is really touching,i was delieverd from alcoholism in august of 2009 and i have had a better life since jesus took that nasty evil demonic spirit out of my life.and i know that it seems like things are always better then asking for delieverence but jesus loves us all and came to save us from things that arent good.

Checked into detox last month. This Monday I'll be sober for a month. Yeah, this is hard sometimes, but life is so much better this way. GET HELP if you know you need it. Don't wait until your life is crumbling to reach out.

Here at 1:40 AM and I'm on beer #11. This is "normal" for me. I searched for "Jesus alcoholism" and this video is screaming at me and I really want it to work for me. I've been a Christian all my life with exceptions being when I've lost faith. The past couple of years have been a journey of me exploring UFOs, fallen angels, and really non-mainstream things and this all lead me back to JESUS. I'm not happy as a beer addict. I want more for me and my kids.GOD HELP ME, PLEASE!
I had my addictions (masturbation) but I have overcame the addiction. Demons were trying to keep me in my addictions by sending me inappropriate dreams and demonic attacks while sleeping.
Jacki, is right. Satan likes to keep people addicted because it separates you from God.
@vizion24 You're not alone. I was also into masturbation until I said "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH". Jesus delivered me from this addiction. I've had it with Satan's lies.

Very powerful! This hits home for me cause i am an alcoholic. I am have defeated it through Christ. I couldnt do it on my own. Thank you for sharing this and i will be sharing this video with others.
Also im not saying religion does not help alot people overcome addiction, it gives people hope, focus,inner-strength, community....But the particular name people of all faiths or of no faith ascribe to this power and ability does not seem to matter.
What seems like the only common thread is a persons will and strong desire to change, what ever the path.

{FYI there is some increasing trend in psychology to consider people that replace Drugs with a god as simply changing addictions not full recovery , albeit religion is usually much less harmful.} {supernatural methadone if u will}

This is the question that needs to be answered, because you see unless you have been addicted to something and set free, then you have no idea what is being talked about here. JESUS frees from ALL addictions. If people are seeking help elsewhere they will sadly not get it. Sure there have been people who were set free from addiction in one area only to replace it with ANOTHER addiction. This is my point. NOTHING else works but JESUS
@Greathiway hey friend...ok those people that overcome various problems such as alchoholism by themselves, but by other gods..i only believe in the one true Lord God and Creator..the God of the Scriptures..but people can seek help for many problems in life thru doctors,self help groups, physiatrists etc which is all good,but the main thing is dealing with our SIN nature which is how we end up with all these problems in the first place and only Jesus Christ can fulfill mans spiritual needs!
Well sin is a disparate Christian concept, In this case the sin is breaking the first commandment , You loving a drug more then YHWH. But im saying in the real world addiction is simply defined by continued use in the face of adverse consequences because you care about a drug more then family or even Your own life. That can change without Jesus. So I think its superfluous to only equate it with a Christian concept of sin or any type of super-thinking.
@Greathiway People dont fully recover anything without JESUS. They may overcome an addiction for a short while but they will fall into another addiction to replace the one. With JESUS, there is freedom of all addiction. People without Jesus are forever hungry and they don't know what for,, they are missing something and keep searching ..but when one finds Jesus, the search is done. He is all that we need to endure. Seek Jesus Christ, He loves you very much

Jesus can help you stop your addictions immediately, cold turkey! I also was addicted certain sinful things and I was delivered. I have no more temptations now for those sinful things. Praise the Lord!

Great vid sis. I liked pain killers for many years after an auto accident. Experimented with many other drugs also. 11 yrs ago God delivered me from all those drugs. 5 yrs ago God took my cigarettes away. (Still amazed by that.) I still drink a little bit but no where near as much as I did just 5 months ago (which was a lot). Now it’s less than once a week 1 to 3 drinks while playing computer games. I don’t feel bad about that considering where I was.
I had the same experience through AA, recovery to sanity requires a complete mind displacement that can only be acheived by a spiritual upheaval, a rebirth of sorts.
I was atheist, I got a surprise when God did a number on my mind.
I realized the tenets of AA are all bout what Jesus brought to the world.
Don't ever quit sharing your faith with the world. Glory to God, and blessed are you when people persecute you for His name. (Matthew 5:11-12) <-- favorite verse :D
I love God, and I completely agree with you. It's all through Christ that we can be free, and I'm so GLAD that we don't have to do that alone. Oh, how much hope He gives us. How much love, and how much He wants to help and take control of things. What an amazing Father we have. :)

I never got caught up in heavy hard core drugs-alcohol-trouble.My friends and I used to go to Clubs in the 80's-but at the end of the night, those Clubs were so lonely. I was so far away from Jesus-thats why it was so dark.
Now I live-breathe and give Him all the glory every day.

Im dealing with something along the lines of addiction right now. Im not sure what to do about it, its almost like i haven't let go to allow God to take it away.

I hope you're tapering off the alcohol. I myself haven't been addicted to alcohol, but I know you should taper off. Delirium tremens can happen. I'm sure you know but just wanted to let you know in case you didn't. Congratulations on your decision.

So awesome all praise to Jesus . I have a very similar story regarding alcehol . I had a bad addiction it almost killed me but I asked Jesus to take it away and he did . I would most likely have drank myself to death by now . Like yourself I have 0% interest in drinking . If anyone would have known what a drunk I was they would think that was literally impossible . I tried at least 50 times to stop drinking ..and it NEVER worked until I out it into the hands of the LORD . Thank you Jesus !!!

on a different note, What do you think of people that are able to disguard alcoholism thru other gods, or no gods at all?

Jesus can help you stop your addictions immediately, cold turkey! I also was addicted certain sinful things and I was delivered. I have no more temptations now for those sinful things. Praise the Lord!

Great vid sis. I liked pain killers for many years after an auto accident. Experimented with many other drugs also. 11 yrs ago God delivered me from all those drugs. 5 yrs ago God took my cigarettes away. (Still amazed by that.) I still drink a little bit but no where near as much as I did just 5 months ago (which was a lot). Now it’s less than once a week 1 to 3 drinks while playing computer games. I don’t feel bad about that considering where I was.

I had the same experience through AA, recovery to sanity requires a complete mind displacement that can only be acheived by a spiritual upheaval, a rebirth of sorts.
I was atheist, I got a surprise when God did a number on my mind.
I realized the tenets of AA are all bout what Jesus brought to the world.
They don't state this but it is.
The 12 steps are all there in the lords Prayer.
You keep right on witnessing, and keep the faith.

I love God, and I completely agree with you. It's all through Christ that we can be free, and I'm so GLAD that we don't have to do that alone. Oh, how much hope He gives us. How much love, and how much He wants to help and take control of things. What an amazing Father we have. :)

@bloodredbracelet Do not give up, God will empower you! People laugh at me, but I don't care. So many people are on their way to hell, that is so TERRIBLE! You'll grow stronger in Christ as your relation will grow. I find it hard too, but Youtube is a good place to start. Also do not expect it from yourself, but from God.

I just came across your video. You are a brave girl to put your "stuff" out there.
God sees you- knows you- loves you.He has you in the palm of His hand.
I never got caught up in heavy hard core drugs-alcohol-trouble.My friends and I used to go to Clubs in the 80's-but at the end of the night, those Clubs were so lonely. I was so far away from Jesus-thats why it was so dark.
Now I live-breathe and give Him all the glory every day.

@TangShen You've missed the point entirely. Its NOT about religion at all. Its about relationship. I didnt overcome my alcohol problem from attending a church or a revival.. I overcame it thru Christ. Whether or not you believe in Him doesn't change the truth that Jesus is the Way, The Truth and LIFE. I pray that you get to know him and experience him yourself. @Segmeta God IS REAL, whether you believe it or not doesn't change the truth. You were sent to this video for a reason, are you in denial? do you have an addiction problem? Jesus loves you and he wants a relationship with you. If you haven't known him, then how can you judge him? You can't judge a God that you don't know. 2)The only reason i am at this video was that i was surfing through Christian channels (started at the big nut job aka Gorilla199) and got here (i am not an alcoholic and i have no such problems)

legitimate reason for believers to drink. Jesus' wine was grape juice. I used to use Him drinking alcohol as an excuse...very sad a lie from satan

Everyone has their own unconfused addiction weather it be swearing or eating to much caffeine our sugar.I am a loner inside myself i dont like to get around people or eat in front of people. One of the biggest miracles will be at the marriage supper of the lamb eating with everyone.Im a day person my wife is a night person,i guess opposite attract. Its really hard for me to share and i thank you for sharing.

God delivered me from drinking, smoking and pornography overnight. I remember every time i would try to quit, i would get really sick. With Jesus it was instant!

Yeshua is AWESOME!! Great to hear how much he has helped you Jacki. I had the exact same problem as you and i was involved with drugs to. Yeshua took all that garbage out of my life and i am so grateful and blessed by how much He helped me. I still have areas in my life where i need to fully commit my addictions to Him so he can truly take them away from me and i have faith he will make me overcome them. I hope you're tapering off the alcohol. I myself haven't been addicted to alcohol, but I know you should taper off. Delirium tremens can happen. I'm sure you know but just wanted to let you know in case you didn't. Congratulations on your decision.

amen praise the lord,...Jesus Christ.....I drank for twelve years from 17 till 29 years old when jesus set me free.,,,never went more than two month spand without drinking sometimes all night..most of all the friends that I used to hang out with as a or late teen years ,,,on my street,,,all are dead now...there were four I can think of we would say Friends till the end...,, I have not drank alcohol in over 20 years...GOD bless you !

So awesome all praise to Jesus . I have a very similar story regarding alcehol . I had a bad addiction it almost killed me but I asked Jesus to take it away and he did . I would most likely have drank myself to death by now . Like yourself I have 0% interest in drinking . If anyone would have known what a drunk I was they would think that was literally impossible . I tried at least 50 times to stop drinking ..and it NEVER worked until I out it into the hands of the LORD . Thank you Jesus !!!
