  • front legs looks like its wearing fluffy pjamas

  • lol, expected an american dad dead cat moment.

  • That baby talking is as adorable as the raccoon.

  • Then it scratches your face off :)

  • Omg...racoon natures ninja

  • This is a baby raccoon. Wait until its about 1 year old and reverts to being a wild animal.

  • What should i call you?

    FACE REMOVER! Rawwr!

  • He wants your shinies.

  • @2dittoditto That rule only applies to animals who dont have natural access to human food. This is a fucking raccoon, what do you think it eats? Feeding a scavenger animal isnt killing it. Stay in school, please.

  • stupid ignorant peolpe .. a fed raccoon is a dead raccoon .. nice that you make it easy to KILL ... hope you get rabies you deserve it . LEAVE WILDLIFE WILD STUPID SHIT

  • @2dittoditto If you have any pets, then you aren't going by what you just said. Since 90 percent of pets were once from the wild. There's only some that have been breed into being tame.

  • @2dittoditto You sound like one of those insane animal rights activists, I'm guessing that in your logic, a fed human is a dead human? Well, time to starve our kids!

  • @2dittoditto he didn't feed it in the video. Raccoons and other wild animals come into contact with humans all the time. You simply can't keep every wild creature out of your backyard.

  • If you feed them they'll be less skittish

  • cute, nice background chimes

  • Very cool

There's a gal on here (YT) hand feeding them cat food

    That's not the brightest thing

Around me, we see them all the time

Dead on the shoulder of the road

  • it was bowing to you for permission to get close. bow back! and show approval

  • Human: "hey buddy...what should I call ya...what should I call ya?" Raccoon: "RABID ARRRRGHGHAHAHAHAAA!!!" lol j/k I rehab Raccoons, but still not a good idea to play with one if you do not know where it came from.

  • awww did u leave some food around the area for him?

  • I hate it when people think Cute = Harmless.

It won't be until this guy inevitably gets bitten that he'll get a real appreciation & respect for the difference between an animal hand-tamed from birth by a professional care-giver, and a slightly curious wild raccoon he found on his back deck that keeps coming around because he thinks it's cute and entices it to stick around and smile for the camera...

This raccoon would probably bite his face if he ever got too close or made a sudden move.

  • It's very tame until you put it in your fridge..

  • You should mute the volume... It's pretty pathetic.

  • come on now i want to go to some random petstore and get a racoon

  • Cute or not, they are still wild animals. You should never try to tame them and keep them for pets. They are very susceptible to rabies and the like. If you have children or other domestic pets, you place them in danger.

  • Where I'm from we eat them, with hot sauce.

  • Very cute creatures. I'd befriend one!

  • Breaks my heart that assholes kill these things for ugly ass clothing.

  • @frenchpet You callin me an asshole fuck you tree hugger

  • @SuperJg4567 No you're just an stupid prick.

  • прикольная животинка

  • WAIT... they're smart enough to open jars RIGHT?....

i wonder if i can train the one up in my attic to get me a beer from the frig durring game day...

    ...

  • leave nature alone please

  • darn, i pity the poor coon

  • Cute, but deadly. They have rabies.

  • @MrMonstersk8er and you have retarded.

  • Man, I don't usually feel bad for racoons because some of them have rabbies, but leave the poor thing along Goddamnit! It looked scared out of it's life.

  • Comment removed

  • @SilverterrorII Learn English!!!

  • @SilverterrorII It doesn't look scared to me... its not trapped or anything if it was scared it would of ran away and if it WAS trapped and scared it would be aggresive. It looks curious. Wary, careful, but curious.

  • Aww it's lovely

  • maybe if u gave him a treat he'd be happy

  • Racoons- Natures Ninja's

  • What are the Racoons eating?????

  • i'd laugh sooo hard when he was saying what should I call ya when its really close, if it jumped and attacked him

  • i dont have wabbies, i pwomise

    -tobuscus

  • cute...till it rips ur fucking face off

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEE!!!!!!!!

(am i the only person who thinks the guy holding the camera sounds like Jacuzzi from Baccano? :3 )

  • This people either have big balls or they r completely idiotic

  • dude their claws have poison

  • look out for "tame" wild animals they might have rabies....

  • @mindfuckerification I'd rather touch them than whatever you're carrying! Rabies? perhaps you might just check the actual science of it...lots of places where no other kinds of life exists...I can sell you some properties, I'll finance it...

  • putt peanut butter on the end of a shotgun and pull the trigger

  • they look like little robbers lol.

  • you should keep her

  • you should name him bandit :3

  • Guy- "What should I call ya? What should I call ya? What should I call ya?"

    Raccoon-"Call me Ishmael!"

  • omg...his ears are so fuzzy... C:

  • GIVE HIM SOME FOOD ALREADY FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD

  • my brother had pet raccoons.... then a drunken redneck kidnapped them fed them to his hounds.... thats why i hate rednecks.

  • i'm pretty sure he's holding a cat behind the camera.....thumbs up if you agree

  • in his mind hes like "im gonaa get closer and RIP HIS FACE OFF"

  • Call her coonie

  • YOUR AN IDIOT.

to bad he ddin't scratch your face

  • @Bleachfan0797 You're*

  • If you license him as your official pet, you should name him "Rob"... Get it?

  • racoons are so human. in the way they act. they're like mini adult toddlers.

  • Pet it. I dare you.

  • "I swear I wasn't eating your flowers. -Runs away-"

  • ok if this is their pet awesome if this is a random coon on the porch these are some dumb asses cuz wild raccoons only come out durning the day if there sick an animals with rabies are more social 0_o

  • I have to say yes they are cute but though I would be conflicted to you cant keep them as pets they carry rabies and are nocturnal meaning if they are out in the day watch out.

  • thats the cutest thing i have ever seen !!!!

  • one bite , instant rabies

watch out though they r real cuties.

  • u should name it riany or if it is a boy mamey

  • Suddenly faceless.

  • Tempting I'm sure but you are wise to keep your distance:)

  • FUCK NO

  • It is wandering why you have an odd camera shaped face.

  • As cute as it is, this raccoon isn't acting normally. Especially the fact that it's active in clear dailylight. Most likely has rabies, but I guess that it could be used to humans too. But I'd be making sure before you get too close again.

  • @emz33 ... Respectfully, it is acting normally, and it isn't showing ANY signs of rabies. Raccoons also come out in the daytime. Raccoons are not a host for rabies....that's an old wives tail. They are very resiliant, and less likely to catch/die from rabies than a dog/cat. Nothing carries rabies, there is no host that survives it. Bats survive the longest (by far) w/ it. Dogs/cats/livestock are the most suseptable to it. I'd rather be bitten by a wild raccoon, than an un-vaccinated dog.

  • @grattan100 And that could be true too. But seeing as it IS wild, and they don't know 100% for sure whether it's rabies free or not, I'd exercise extreme caution. Because rabies or not, I wouldn't want to get bitten by anything.

  • @emz33 Animals with rabies are very different from this...

  • Its hiding cuz its afraid it will go on you... too late!

  • People w/ good intentions will get an orphan & it is the most loving creature they have ever had, & want 2 keep it. At the least, they will literally destroy U'r home. They usually age & become unpredictable, to untrained people. Most that R raised as pets, get released w/ no survival skills. If U care 4 the animal, please do not keep as a pet, because when it all goes wrong & it is released it will most likely perish. Orphans need 2 be immediatly given to a wildlife-rehabber.

  • If U find orphaned raccoons (or other wildlife), don't call conservation/animal-control/DNR....they will euthenise it. 'Google' a wildlife rehabber/center. If U cant find a local rehabber, call any rehabber U can find, even an out of state one....they will give U contact information on someone in U'r area. DNR/Conservation will have a list of rehabbers in U'r State & will give U the information. Request a list, but do not ask 4 physical assistance...they will usually retrieve it & euthenize.

  • Its cute but it carries harmful diseases like rabies, etc.

  • @Blueknightex ... They don't carry rabies! Rabies isn't even a concern in this day and age. If something bites U, you get a series of painless shots which are 100% effecftive. Something bites you, you get shots....end of story. When someone says "xxxxx......carries rabies".... All that does is misinform the public and keeps the old myth(s)/panic going.....You have a better chance of winning the lottery than ever getting bit by an infected animal. And it's an easy fix if U do

  • easy target to practice your hunting kick

  • this is the cutest thing ever.

  • OMG so cute! ᵔᴥᵔ

  • Damn

  • They make great pets (had one for 10 years) but it looks like this one is wild and probably habituated to humans. That's a potentially dangerous situation. You shouldn't feed or pet a wild racoon. They are very social but they don't understand us and we don't understand them, so it's easy to get bitten or scared by a habituated racoon. Let them stay wild and keep away. They are incredibly cute and mysterious though, so it's hard to not try and get close.

  • @abbottmonte. I work w/ coons, & as sweet as they R, as they age they can become unpredictably aggressive 2 their owner. Most, if exposed to the outdoors, will want to B free. It is really a crap shoot w/ the odds stacked heavily against U, & there is no way 2 predict the animals eventual dimeanor as a youngster, as that can change like a lightswitch. They will DESTROY your home. BAD pet. U are very fortunate to have had a loving pet raccoon...very very few people have experienced it :-)

  • Come a little bit closer...a liiiiittle bit closer...okay too close, back up, okay a little closer, noooo baaaack, okay closer...lol...JUST WHERE DO YOU WANT THEM TO GO??

  • lol hes scared

  • I had a bottle of mountain dew and only a bit was left and I put it in the recycling bin two raccoons came and one got my bottle and was drinking from the puddle, my three black cats watched but didn't do anything, the raccoons went on their way after getting at a pizza box, no kitty's were harmed either.

  • all need to watch this, robin williams weapons of self destruction part 2, go to 1:00 and go one from there its about raccoons funny as hell u WILL LMFAO, garunteed

  • If you feed a raccoon, they tell all their many friends and then they all come hang out on your porch.

  • bag n grab ^^

  • Aren't raccoons nocturnal? Your visiter is rabid.

  • @meanevodean i don't know about rabid, maybe just hungry.

  • @meanevodean ... Not rabid. Most people are taught that a daytime raccoon is a sick raccoon...that is a myth. Raccoons come out during the day 2 forage, especially when they are nursing babies back at their den. No concerns seeing a coon during the day at all :-)

  • Coons do not carry(host) rabies, if they get bit(infected) by a dog/cat/bat w/ the virus, they quickly die. Also, it is not transmitable until it reaches the brain & salivatory glands, which is at the late stages of the virus & the animals life. Rabies can't survive in the enviroment, as soon as infected saliva dries, it dies. 25% infection rate in exposed humans. If exposed, a series of painless small-needled shots in the arm & no worries(100%).

  • Poor raccoons....:(

  • "Let's corner this wild raccoon!" Good bit of thinking there chief.

  • they look like little robbers lol.

  • @tranisBEAST

    ha, nice family guy reference

  • @tranisBEAST They are, lol its like, Hayy I'm cute can I haz some food? OK SEE YEAHHH SUCKKA

  • @clok555 ya i know im just fuckin around

  • FEED HIM A CHICKEN WING!!!! :) LOL

  • You should call him rabid

  • *Melts*

  • Don't worry about a coon getting "too close". They're very defensive creatures and only attack when in danger. This one was simply curious as long as you stayed still.

  • Awwwwwwwwwww... he wants to eat your nose!

  • hank hill: Get outta here ya furreh bastard.

  • so cute

  • even tho this is a wild raccoon this one seems really friendly lol

  • <3 !

  • ok like if you think this is a cute video and some people just over react way to much to get attention. obviously it was just a guy trying to show he had a cute raccoon on his porch an wanted to videotape it.

  • Rake-ins! thats what those furry little bastards are, Rake-ins!

  • u petting him would be proof of it being REALLY tame...

  • awww

  • @TheFoster06 yup thanks for coming out of the closet bro!!! <3

  • @TheFoster06 LUUUL ii love you. You be a troll and troll2 be awe2ome. Doe2 thii2 anger you bro? Ya ii'm a furry. Problem? XDDD you make me so happy in life.

  • owww :3

  • have ou ever watched elf mofo?

  • " aww your the cutest lil buddy ive ever..WOAH GETTIN TO CLOSE BUDDY, GETTIN TOO CLOSE!!"

  • its cute until the little sod scratches the shit out of you.

  • @TheFoster06 Lul stop trollin I aint 14 X3 and raccoons dont hiss

  • I wonder i my released pet raccoon goes to people's houses like this....bc she still comes home & we feed her. It's like...she's still our pet, but her 'cage' is the world.

  • Just because some people have had raccoons as pets does in no way mean that every specimen can be kept at home or "tamed." The animal in the video was curious and it's good you only wanted to film it, some idiots would have grabbed it and injured it for a laugh.

  • attack ready to happen

  • ur a ass calling him to you then saying hes to closes u dick

  • Awww aren't you so cute? yes you are! yes you AAAAGGGHH! GET OFF MY FACE! GET OFF MY FACE!

  • its cute until it rips you a new ass.

  • You should call it Bitey McRabieston.

  • @TheFoster06 that was the camera taker you moron

  • No one feed Raccons in the wood... the eat out of the gosh damn trash, they like the same food we do.

  • they scare me but there cute and i want a pet as one

  • its Tom Nook, he wants to sell you something

  • @CanadaEh1969 I GET IT

  • @LightlyLexi :3

  • we have some wild racoons around here, we feed them cat food outside, leave a couple bowls of it around, they are real friendly if they were born around you or in your area.... I still wouldnt try and pet one though.

  • that cute little coon could turn any second and rip your face off

  • I had a raccoon when I was younger that would let me pet it, but if my parents would come near it the raccoon would just hiss and growl at them.

  • LOL @ when you get rabies.

  • Man: What should I call you?

    Me: RABIES!!

  • Usually when you see out during the day they're diseased. We use to find some on the farm like that and they had temper or w/e? So we ended up putting them down because the vet said they wouldn't live long.

  • @PelicanTendencies Yeah, its called distemper, I saw one like that the other day. It was sitting about 2 feet away from a fence with 3 dogs in there just barking at it like crazy. This was in the middle of the day.

  • @tyler361549 Ah I couldn't remember the name exactly, thanks! Yeah it's sad when the babies get it because the mother will abandon them. :I

  • i alway wanted a pet raccoon

  • AWWWWWW <3 He's so adorable!

  • AWW

  • RJ!

  • Cartman!

  • I'm not sure if it would be called tame more than curious. Never the less, it is really cute. =]

  • call him bandit obvioslyyyy

  • @danmcdonalds

I'd name it Vector, as in a vector for disease

  • just so people know, we use to have pet coons. they are always wild and can go into preadatory mode any sec. their jaws are stong enough to snap a broom handle like a toothpick. always respect wildlife.

  • Comment removed
