  • I have uploaded a recent video to this.

Please follow the new one linked in the description!

  • Hey, think you can help me flash my SGH-T959 to compleate stock i had it root it before, is there a way to compleatly unroot

  • @carlosrauld unroot would be to flash back to stock, or use an app...sorry can't help with your SGH - as it might be a different process altogether.

  • I cant seem to find the PIT file...

  • @bbdmtr its there on the site - or google .512 PIT file ;)

  • @totallydubbedHD alright thanks. i just downloaded one of those firmwares.. but i only get 3 BIN files, 2 RFS files, a LFs file and a normale file, but i cant put anything into to CSC and PDA..

  • @bbdmtr download the right thing - seems like you downloaded something else

  • @totallydubbedHD oh damn. could you be so kind to send me a direct link or whatever? I have a Galaxy S GT-I9000

  • @bbdmtr my video should make it clear enough - the file downloaded should have: 3 MD5 files - are u sure ur following my links/video guide?

I found it no problem - can't send u a link as u need to be registered/logged in to see them.

  • @totallydubbedHD Never mind, fixed my phone somehow lol.

  • Odin doesnt find my phone while in download mode, only in recovery, what to do?

  • @duckstyle321 only in recovery?

    Then its not bricked...

Install the right drivers, and make sure you try it on another PC....no idea what you have done with ur phone.

  • @totallydubbedHD This is a common problem, according to alot of people on a swedish android forum.

I can enter Download and Recovery mode, eventhough i get the phone-!-pc screen

  • @duckstyle321 ok so its soft bricked for some reason

As you can get into download mode, it means your having problems with your PC picking it up - make sure your PC has the drivers, odin is opened before you plug it in, and try on another pc or something - there is not much else you can do.

In recovery you could TRY factory resetting - but doubt that will solve a soft brick...

  • @totallydubbedHD by driver, you mean Odin or what?

  • @duckstyle321 samsung drivers, for SGS...dunno about the sgs plus, guessing the same drivers u use for SGS1

  • When i connect my bricked SGSplus, Odin doesnt find the phone in Download mode, only in Recovery, what to do?

  • @duckstyle321 its bricked for a reason...:/

    You need a JIG mate...

  • @totallydubbedHD well the reason is your guide was recommended by people having the exact same problem as me. Its "soft-bricked" as in "phone-!-pc screen"

I can enter download mode, shouldnt i in that case be able to flash with Odin?

  • @duckstyle321 this video is NOT for people that are soft bricked...no idea who told you that - this is just a normal guide, just showing you how to flash to stock roms

Your computer must be having problems or the drivers aren't installed - try re-installing the drivers, close kies, and have odin open BEFORE plugging in the phone.

  • I fucking LOVE YOU. JUST SAVED MY LIFE!!! (no homo lol)

  • @fbragasilva haha i love you too. No homo

  • Im currently running 2.3.3 GKG3 on my vibrant I9000, can I flash my phone back to any lower version like 2.2.2? I need the 2e recovery menu which isint on 2.3.3.

  • @longjohnsteve94 dunno what GKG3 is, neither do I know vibrant rom's, they aren't exactly the same as i9000's

Why you trying to flash down? and have you done any customisations on your phone already?

  • @totallydubbedHD I didn't mean that I'm trying to sell you my phone.Little missunderstanding lol.

  • @milanking15 no i know you weren't mate - but you were asking am I going to make s2 videos - my reply: I would have if it was paid via donations, aprt from that no.

And as I said, I haven't received anything for all the videos etc I made - approaching 1 million views. If I only had £0.1 per view...

  • @totallydubbedHD I'm selling it for 220€ probably.Any chance of SGS2 rom videos?

  • @milanking15 buy me an sgs2 lol - i have never been donated for all the videos I've done...so i can't afford nor need one, sorry.

  • Can I disable lagfix, unroot phone and then flash the stock firmware via Odin?I'm selling my phone for the SGS2.

  • @milanking15 no need for any of that - just flash stock firmware - it will unroot, and do everything.

Preferably, before you flash stock, disable lagfix first :)

PS. How much you selling it for :P?

  • lmao "open up samsungs failed product, samsung kies" SO TRUE

  • @xaxa91324 yup that's right - instead of doing exactly as i did - flash JVO straight off.

  • Wow took me awhile to find a Galaxy S odin to stock, I'm finally doing the first step... hopefully this works :S

  • I did everything yet Kies said my phone is not supported for updating? It did connect however... Help please.

  • @zoranvid did u change ur CSC?

I don't see why 3 people have problem doing it - i had 0 problems doing it 2x

  • @totallydubbedHD Yes, I did. But apparently it went wrong, because I've checked it again and it was still KOR and now it seems to work. Thx mate!

  • @zoranvid no probs!

  • where can i find the modem file?

  • @Bonurr well should be in there, if it isn't then it isn't a full rom so to speak

  • @totallydubbedHD so like could you help me with which files i should be downloading?

  • @totallydubbedHD Could you please help me out with selecting the correct files needed?

  • @Bonurr so i don't get what are you trying to do and why. Just follow my video?

  • @totallydubbedHD i did follow the video im like up to the file downloading bit, its just when i download the file right, in your video you got 4 files i only got 1..

  • @Bonurr if you download and watch my video you will have all the right files...

  • @totallydubbedHD and also im not quiet too sure which file i should be downloading too...

  • ok thanks is something to do with the kernel version because it says

    2.6 32.9

    root@SEP-51#1

  • @Sean32145 that's just the stock kernel isn't it? (check my video) I think i show what I'm on somewhere in there...

  • PDA I9000XXJPY

    PHONE I9000XXJPY

    CSC I9000OXAJPY

    Build info 2010.12

  • @Sean32145 and kies doesn't update it wtf...that's odd.

To be honest, you can just flash stock JVO and be on the latest "JVO" from samsung.

  • ive done that and it is still sayin this version of the device cannot be updated and the csc says CSC JPY(XXX) ? and my phone is on xeu

  • @Sean32145 csc on JPY?

    put this in your dialer:

    *#1234#

    What does it show.

  • i followed all the steps and it still says this version of the device cannot be updated ? and it also says at the end where i think it supposed to say xeu it says xxx help please.

  • @Sean32145 change the CSC to XEU from KOR :)

    See my video on CSC's

  • Hey, great video as always. It might be worth noticing something when it comes to the different versions of firmware. I used your video, because i wanted danish Swype back after flashing the F1 Galaxy (Using your other great video :) ). I wanted to do a stock reset->update with Kies->root-> backup danish swype-> restore it in F1. Only problem is this firmware you are using here doesn't have dansih Swype or keyboard. Only danish language on the phone. So to get it I need another CSC or something?

  • @Bolbronx that would be with swype versions. Have you tried the new swype? As in uninstall the one on the phone, then install the latest one?

    :)

  • @totallydubbedHD Hey, thanks for replying. I actually never thought of that. And know i've spend all night yesterday (and today trying to restore my nandroid backup, phew) trying to find a firmware with the danish edition. Could you direct me to the newest Swype? Can I uninstall the old one with Nitrality or something? And a sidenote: I've been afraid of rooting my phone since i got it, right until i found your videos. Your work is much appreciated, cheers

  • @Bolbronx glad my videos helped bro :)

I have a video on how to install swype. At the time it was an older version of swype.

    Now its the 3.0 BETA.

So check out my video for starters, and also type swype in google, for the download page etc :)

  • does cwm also get removed if you have it?

  • @mokht5O yes it reverts everything back to stock.

You can now also just flash JVO STOCK instead of flashing 2.2.1

So yeah if you want to get off a custom ROM etc, it will get rid of everything ROM/kernel/CWM

If you want custom kernels roms and what not, flash one.

Don't worry samsung or your provider will have no idea that anything has been flashed.

More so, nothing will go wrong with flashing, as long as you follow guides, or watch my videos ;)

  • @totallydubbedHD ok thank you very much :)

  • thkz bro...i'll have try..=)

  • nice work...i'm in malaysia now and i wanna know can i use the europe firmware here??

  • @shadowmove4103 of course!

  • @AngelArm1110 put it to reverse

  • So i dnt need the jpu and jpy......also i put them in pda phone and csc right not only pda??

  • @bestnabil55 don't worry...just put on STOCK JVO = AND YOU ARE DONE!!

  • Can i use odin to flash JVO from JVP??

  • @bestnabil55 of course!

  • haha we both use the same chrome theme.

  • @NyanTroIl =WIN!

  • People could also flash STOCK JVO straight on :)

  • which is back to froyo or still on gingerbread?

  • @ronaldlim92 huh?

  • I just followed my own video for my Mum's SGS which was on Darky's 9.5 - I'm on STOCK JVO on both phones now :)

  • Cool Live Wallpaper. What is the name of this live wallpaper?(Sorry for my english :D)

  • @TheWambostik starfield bro :)

  • i couldn't flash it back coz my galaxy ace was stuck while it boot up...and can sync with kies ady...and rom file in samfirmware doesnt match for my ace...can u figure it out for me...thanks

  • @waiken85 yeah you flashed it on the GALAXY ACE not the SGS...

you flashed the wrong firmware in other words

  • I'm from Malaysia. So does that make me have to flash DXJP1 first? Because DXJP1 is the only file who has 3 files. The rest such as DXJPA and DXJPE only have 1 file. I've flashed DXJP1 initially, then again with DXJPA but I couldn't passed GT-I9000 screen. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

  • @MrHarryHeavenly02 Flash as I did then update it via kies.

  • @totallydubbedHD sorry to disturb again but JPU and JPY aren't asian rom. i wanna flash back asian stock rom.

  • @MrHarryHeavenly02 I know they aren't however when u put it into kies, it should flash it to an asian inge, if u see what I mean.

More so, if you change the csc kies should pick that up too.

Try finding on samfurmware a full asian rom, I'm sure there must be one out there :)

  • can i do these on DarkyROM JVH v10.1?

cause i want to get my sgs to stock again :D

    (sorry for the bad english)

  • @mahusayaq2nd yes of course!

Can be done from any firmware :)

Just follow the guide closely :D!

  • Samsung's failed product :D Thats epic :D

  • @jackbauer2411 so true...took me 2hrs to figure out why it wasn't syncing on kies with JPU lol

  • Please read the description as well guys :)

  • Amazing Guide.... !!! love it.. Now we all can see again how ugly the stock rom is in comparison to Darky's one! :D

  • @Heike2312 haha :D!

Although the JVO looks very similar :)

    Thanks for the comment :)
