Make the corridor one wide, a iron door behind as you enter, walls 2 high, the door closes as you come in, fires, they panic, go forwards then backwards setting it off again.

I have a small comnpact arrow dispencer that i found put messing with redstone and dispencers 1 day you can have a lever to fire it if you enemy is in range or a pressure plate like you have but it fires untill it runs out of arrows never stops.

@monkeyfarm well I'm sure I didn't do it wrong(By misfiring i meant 1 or two arrows popping out completely at random, might not happen in 10 minutes might happen every 5 seconds 5 times in a row). although after the first one i made a 50 foot tall tower completely wired up using your system to fire arrows in all directions at the press of a button so it may not have the best compatibility in the format i set it up. but thanks either way.

@facelessred Not sure, I just tested mine again and that didnt happen. I do know what you're talking about though... but I've only seen it happen if I had a torch or redstone missing. sorry i couldnt help more.

put two opposite each other and put a couple of iron doors in and rows of them and they will die trying to break thru the iron doors

you should add a hidden piston in front of the dispenser so they cant step off the pressure plate right away, and after they have 2 hearts left they'll be like "what a bad trap you have there, didn't even kill me" and when the dispensers stop shooting the victim will destroy the pistons behind them and step off the plate and kill themselves. I dont think your going to read this but if you do please try making this trap.BTW thanks for these great tutorials just watched few and subbed right away.

@JamMan118 Photoshop is an Adobe product, not exactly inexpensive either. You may be able to get a trial or education version for cheaper. But I'm sure there are some free/inexpensive image editing programs out there too.

I've been trying all night and the best I could do to fit the compact version over Xeribris' large one still puts the touchplate within arms' reach of the dispensers :(

@Mikemc Yeah it's a tough one. One thing you can do is replace the pressure plate with redstone wire and place the pressure plate remotely, and I think it still works fast - but the redstone is showing in front of the dispenser, and it only works (fast) on that one pressure plate.

I just made something that fires slower, but releases 21-30 arrows, some water and an iron door to block entry (I got carried away :D ).

Have you tried repacing the pp next to the dispencers with a redstone torch? Im not sure if it would work but from my expiriance with redstone i beleive this will work. My mincraft name is just SaladTurtle and would be thrilled if my idea helped you.

Havn't tried but a redstone repeater attached to it could slow down the pace thus making less of those arrows actually bounce off of you causing less damage but if you want more arrows you could partially re create your trap at the mid point if done correctly they're will be more delay from when you tread on the pressure plate to the first arrow but hopefully more arrows will be fired. But I don't know I literally just thought of it at the end of your vid.

you could hide the dispensers with pistons so when you step on the plate the sticky piston pulls the block back and you get shot

@UbsHouse1 Exactly! I built something like that on a server once to protect my house - The pistons hid the dispenser until someone came to the front door. I'll probably show that example in an upcoming video. :)
