@MrBoon008 Well the word is actually originally a Middle Persian ("Afghan Persian"/Dari) word, which means home. But I guess it´s have been a ghalat fahmi (even this is Middle Persian, so it´s not ghalat fehmi) in India during the Mughal empire, so they thought ashiyaana means hope or something like that.
