  • sucks how the very end of the song was faded out. WHY???

  • @cryptsub it wasnt a fade out in the origional recording

  • @TheCurlyfriess i know, that's why it sounds so wrong here!

  • "No Elvis, Beatles or The Rolling Stones"

  • This song never gets old. Best part is when Joe screams "I don't care!!!" at 1:10 he really means it!

  • this is 77 punk

  • No Elvis, Beatles, Rolling Stones

  • 1 dislike??? Who the fuck is that? Rod Stewart?

  • @poopinyourpantsporn No it was Lady Diana Spencer.

  • @BILLYKARLOFF Or Maggie Thatcher lol

  • @poopinyourpantsporn rod stewart's stuff with jeff beck is more rock and roll than alot of the pop shit the clash did towards the end of their careers

  • @allah211 If you're talking about "cut the crap", I agree.

If you are also including Sandinista and Combat Rock, then there's something wrong with you. That's not pop, it's punk. Mora than that, it's a mixture of various musical style like reggae and soul, which later set the foundations for many other music genres like Ska.

And, are you kidding me? But I recall it was Rod Stewart the one who performed with a string quartet and wrote ballads later performed in front of the queen. Fuck off.

  • @poopinyourpantsporn nah i love Sandinista....police on my back is the best song ever

im just saying its unfair to say rod stewart is bad, cuz while playing in jeff beck group in the 60s and mid 80s he was awesome

  • @allah211 No ranting towards Jeff Beck, though. He was amazing with the Yardbirds.

  • @allah211 stupid twat the clash wern't pop you cunt they were rock and roll, and much better than that twat rod stewart.

  • @cpj93070 HAHAHA listen to the album "Truth" by Jeff Beck. that shit is rock and roll. alot of songs like "rock the casbah", in fact, id say the last good album the clash made was combat rock and then they just sucked dick afterwards.

  • @allah211 FUCK JEFF BECK YOU CUNT, the clash are punk rock and roll through and through, and combat rock WAS last album the orignal clash made you dumb fucking bitch, why watch the clash then if you've just come here to insult the clash can kick the shit out of jeff beck anyday.

  • @cpj93070 they were pop man. listen to london calling, not a damn punk song on that album

  • @allah211 what the fuck on about thats classic punk, and what abouth "i ho silver lining" thats what you call pop u cunt jeff beck is a pop star.

  • @allah211 combat rock WAS the last album the clash made.

  • @allah211 sry that guys is an asshole i guess jeff beck is the shit

  • It was someone representin' Elvis and is hoping that Clash feel guilty about the fact that he DIED that year!

  • They're just the best but just remember that in 1987 no Clash, Pistols or Jam hahaha.

  • @emmanuelcold funny that you point that out... maybe that's whats wrong these days!

  • whats wrong with the only person who dislikes it?

  • I was born in 1974, the year of Portuguese Revolution but definitely 1977 it's my year

  • 1 person was born in 1978

  • hell yes.

  • They played this once at a gig can't remember where but in the early days and the place was full of teddy boys lol. Doubt they could actually hear what strummer was sayin but ya know the look of them was enuff to spark some shit.

  • 1dislike hahaha

  • @JCR101393 oh haha i thought that was the year of the performance lol thnx

  • this must be right after joe left the 101ers because he is using his black tele and rob harper is drumming
