The owner of the club is in the wrong...if he/she owns the club then they can do what they want with the club. The police have to respect that. I do not think it is right for the owner to turn people down because of clothing or race, but the police are doing their job by keeping people off the street and the streets safe, no matter what gender, ethnicity, or race.

Knowing cops, the last thing you want to do is touch, yell, judge their (questionable)behavior; they have legal discretion to do, well, what it is you see here (too many police cars  for two people, bring out dogs, randomly use pepper spray, arrest people who appear to not be doing anything, etc.). First of all black people were denied entry based on the name brand of their clothing. If you wear any brand made by a black designer (rocawear, sean john, enyce, akademics, etc.), you are not allowed entry into this club. It doesnt matter, even if its a polo or a button up shirt.

Once the protest started the police told us we were not allowed to stand on a PUBLIC sidewalk. When they began putting there hand on people, this was the result.
