It's about 70% of the final retail price!.

You don't mess with that monopoly or you'll go to jail to be taken care!

Our gay Prime Minister Engineer Socrates, wants to earn money and you can't mess with that!

    Awesome video!

Great Idea but it's against the law in my country to have that "electric pickup"!

He would get a traffic fine and would go to jail.

After that he would met some nasty people to take care of him!

Our government gets a high tax payed by each litre of oil we spend in our cars!

  • By what method do you revive lead acid batteries? Is it proprietary and would you share the information? I'm building a from-scratch electric vehicle - the Urba Electric - and the biggest expense is batteries, of course. Any advice on saving a few bucks is appreciated. Thanks!!

  • Excellent work! I like to see that !

  • well this is at 120v so it would be like 300 amps at 36 volt.... gotta remember wattage = volts * current so the higher the voltage the less amperage has to be used to put out the same amount of energy. but anyways nice video and good work!

  • Look up this vehicle in EValbum website which has the specs and also 1,500 electric vehicles. You can find it with a google search for WORLD'S CHEAPEST VEHICLE TO OPERATE or REVIVED BATTERY ELECTRIC PICKUP TRUCK.

  • how many volts and how much does the truck weigh, and what Ahr are the batteries rated at? I am trying to gather real world info on ev for a conversion I am thinking of doing.

  • Partial specs:

    120 DC volts (nominal)

Mixed batteries, est 100AH at 20 Hr. rate

    Battery weight: Est 1,000 lbs

Haven't weighed the pickup itself, but similar to the dozens of S-10 or S-15 conversions.

BTW, check out my classifieds listings for helping prospective EV builders, to avoid ending up in a "dead end" like the project cars, partially built, for sale in EV Trading Post (they started on the wrong foot, so to speak.)

  • so a projected weight of 3500lbs would not be out of line?
