My dad was drafted in 1965, was a squad leader in the 1st Infantry division, his rank was spec 4 he was in the ranger unit, one of the main camps he was at was Camp Lai Khe. He did his basic training in Fort Polk, Louisiana. I was looking for some pics of that exact place and time....any help would be great...my dad is alive and well except for some things that agent orange caused...but I LOVE MY DAD WITH ALL MY HEART for what he did for our country.

We still live in the BEST country in the world and I'm proud to be an American. I wish our current administration would see it the same way.

@crh1dobro I was at the Ammo Dump Jan 68 until Jan 6. I was the Ammo records clerk at the Ammo Dump. Do you remember Projo the dog? Do you remember Joe the fork lift driver?

Th Engineers there were sleeping in Connex containers buried in the ground for a while. Many mortar/rocket attacks. Nickname was "Rocket City".
