Thanks for the comment - yes, that was our experience in Samarkand - many of the people were Tajik - it was interesting to see the diversity of cultures in Uzbekistan and we were amazed at how many languages people in Uzbekistan spoke - thanks for your comment.
Thanks a lot. We really loved Uzbekistan. The sites were awesome but for us the highlight were the people. The Uzbek people must be the friendliest and warmest people on earth. It was one of our best trips ever and Uzbekistan has a special place in our hearts. We already plan to go back next year or the year after. Next time we will go east.
