  • I am a septic tank who lived in Bermondsey while the green grocer's daughter fell. At that time the bells were not working if I am correct. Sorry I always look for E20, yet came up!

    The bells are rung often and on Ash Wednesday, (pancake day), I shall try to visit the Church to hear the bells in person.

  • The bells currently in are from 1941 The former ring was destroyed in the war and there was a ring even before those.

  • kchyly - pleasure, I will try again to tape them for longer next time I hear them ringing. I have no idea if they are new or old bells but I'll aks next time I'm there. (I'm not a church goer but I will enquire next time I'm passing.
