  • Wanda, why don't you stick your arm UNDER the word "TELEPHONE" to reach the receiver? You could probably reach it that way if necessary.

But next time, be prepared by carrying tools like plyers, or a flat head screwdriver to pry the word "Telephone" off.

  • There's a word for this... and that word iiiis.... EEEHAKAZANGH! *mindf--k* That used to drive me crazy as a kid. |D I was like, "Woah, WOAH! o-o"

  • I remember this one as a kid? I was always thinking "If she magiced the word Telephone on to the booth why couldn't she magic it away?" LOL

  • this is one of my favorite clips. do u have the banana one?

  • that's already been posted. wanda falbo-food

  • I love Anrea Martin - she is so funny!

  • She's Ms. Fowl on Jimmy Neutron!

  • God, I love Andrea Martin. But I guess it was this clip that always made me remember her as the phone booth fairy instead of the word fairy.

  • Here's an idea, Wanda. Just use your wand again and make the sign disappear, for crying out loud!

  • Oh no, you can't do that! The Rules of being a Word Fairy are VERY Strict--you can make the sign appear, but not DISappear, not on your tintype! That's the way the Comic Universe works! Makes more sense than our own!)

  • Hmm. Interesting notion. If that really is true, perhaps Wanda should have thought of that sooner and made the word "telephone" appear 'casually', if that's the right word, like she did with "dial", "stuck", and "darn it".

  • Maybe she should have made it apear on the top of the booth instead.

  • That would've worked. Or maybe she should have taken it upon herself to call Tinkerbell back, rather than telling Tink to tell her.

  • I dunno, doubt Wanda would have thought of that, she doesn't look the brightest crayon in the box.

  • I used to think that too as a kid. Now that I know it's pretty silly but funny all the same.

  • They censored "darn it"? Seriously?

Well, I guess I can see why, but it's a bit overly sensitive.

  • I don't quite see. Why did you make an exception with this clip?

  • Since the end with her saysing "DARN IT" was cut out from it's later airings.

  • Sure, I noticed that. I just wasn't sure whether or not that was the reason. But at any rate, it's good that the complete version is now up. I was hoping it would come. I can't believe they would edit it over such a harmless phrase. I remember wondering when I was younger why it cut off so suddenly. "Darn it" isn't even a swear, for crying out loud.

  • LOL, yeah...it's not as if she were saying the other D-word on Sesame Street. Then again, I've heard of parents who objected when Cookie Monster's mother said "Oh, what the hey?" in a letter segment from a few seasons ago.

  • Some people today. What is this world coming to?

  • That DARN IT was the reason why I posted it.

  • It's scary to think that somewhere in America, a Gen-Y kid's mother refused to let him watch Sesame Street because a minor character said "darn it" one day. I'm recommending this clip to the Block Party blog!
