Hmm, bushmaster makes a good MRP (Modular Rifle Platform). The only issue that I've had with them is a few extraction problems with 55gr. rounds. Personally I found that 63gr. rounds moving at around 3000 fps was more reliable and more accurate. I do like the 24" barrel, gives you a little more accuracy at range (slightly higher velocity).

but honestly, that rig could reach out to about 800 yards if you developed a good load for it using the 75 grain A-max. i would assume that it has a 1-8" twist barrel which is common in the ARs, and will easily stabilize the longer bullets. but you may not be able to mag feed them.
