  • What works for small European nations doesn't always work everywhere in the world simply because of cultural and economic differences. This applies to firearms and socialized medicine to name two instances.

  • HELL NO!

The third time this propaganda thing crosses my road!...

  • @nebraskapatriot01

Your silly US Constitution is the No1 source of all your society's silly problems.

  • Once you have STARTED the silly mistake of legalising gun ownership........your country is FUCKED. The good and bad both will hv guns. And after decades pass by......no one is going to surrender their guns. The numbnuts need guns to do harm, and the normal numbnuts need guns for protection.

That's why, the US is such a dangerous place to live in......where you need guns to protect yourselves.

  • @Sherayx

Don't compare Switzerland to the USA.

    Worlds apart.

America is loaded with MILLIONS of uneducated and homeless.

46million in poverty and on foodstamps, the country is in financial trouble, serious unemployment, and a lousy education system. MILLIONS of violent Niggers roaming the streets, serious crime, ...compared to Switzerland.

    Switzerland:

high-quality people brought up in a high-quality fashion.

Rational, matured, financially secure and leading a very high std of living.

  • The Swiss are my favorite Europeans and I'm of Italian decent ancestors from Switzerland.

  • wow the treu words of a six year old

  • Now we are here talking about how free and protected the Swiss are. And "somebody" has to make a comment about a "group" of ppl like they attached at the hip, or somethin. Hate amongst each other got us into trying to be a rightless no constitution country. If we were more concerned about the serious manipulation and what's going on around us, u wouldn't have time to hate or talk about anybody. I don't know what they thought? We are all in trouble. luv each other peace world wide, great video!

  • Switzerland is an amazing country with an amazing culture, I really admire it. But most of all, I admire the spirit and strength of the Swiss people, and their power to defend themselves. They have created some fantastic weapons, and I believe their ideals shine in their rifles. Cultures like Switzerland make me proud to be a gun enthusiast (as well as an American studying the German language).

  • The law has now changed...

  • Yes, and our country has the highes suicide quote by army weapons in the world

  • The Feldschiessen ^^ tönt ned schlächt (sounds not bad)

  • Its truly sad how brain washed people in america have become, one day it will be to late for all of us , they are stripping away are rights and are only source to protect ourselves, if you really think the government has your best interest at heart your all ready lost and there is no hope , maybe instead of believe what you hear on the news do your own research

  • The United States Government has called its citizen militia the enemy, which worries us a lot about keeping our liberty. The Patriot act destroyed our 4th Amendment. Now as of December 1st our Senate passed a bill that would allow the military and any other federal organizations to detain any American citizen without Constitutional rights and hold them without trial or due process as an enemy combatant. All in the name of security & fighting terror .Hold onto your militia Swiss.

  • Didn't know this about the swiss, thanks for sharing.

  • The lampshades and soap story were myths!

  • A Little known bit of information is that : Switzerland is the only landlocked country with a navy, strange But True.

    Thom in Scotland.

  • @fuelban no thats not true ,many country are landlocked ,like Afghanistan and many other countries in center asia

  • @paymanmktr But Afghanistan & those others you refer to "Don't have a navy", it was not imagined that Switzerland was the "ONLY" LANDLOCKED (Country in the world),.... The point was & Is, Switzerland though having no coast line nor harbours ("Landlocked", yet Switzerland - maintains a NAVY).

    Hope this helps.

    Thom.

  • @controversyking So your solution to gun crime is to do nothing. How lazy.

The USA will continue to have a high homicide rate as along as everyone believes they have a God given right to own and use guns. A ban on owning guns hits criminals harder than non-criminals.

  • @uanime1 you are truly dumb....the places in America with the highest crime and homicide rate ARE THOSE CITIES WITH GUN CONTROL. my town everyone is armed and its a very homicide free place.

  • @uanime1 Nonsense. Since when did words on paper ever mean anything to hardcore gangsters?

  • @bluecollarcanuck Given the low level of gun crime in the UK it seems to mean something to our criminals.

  • @uanime1 Low level of gun crime, maybe, but every two-bit hooligan and their dog just commits crime using edged weapons. Look at the Potter actor who was stabbed last year, & also look at what happened during the recent riots. I doubt that HM's Prisons will truly reform the thugs, or even cause them to feel any remorse. And still, with the right connections, there's plenty of firepower to be had on the black market.

  • @bluecollarcanuck Most crime in the UK is property crime, such as graffiti or vandalism, so it can be committed with pretty much anything. Also the number of people killed as a result of crime is much lower than in the USA.

3 people died in the riots after being hit by a car and most police officers were injured when people threw stones at them.

If the prison's actually tried to reform people, rather than just imprison them, they would cut reoffending.

  • @uanime1 You`re an idiot.

  • @uanime1 False. Criminals love gun control. Ask one dumbass

  • @Raging0yster Criminals in the UK don't like gun control, it makes it too difficult for them to get guns.

  • @controversyking

The remaining numbers are obviously in the many other potential crimes (fraud, forgery, burglary, auto theft, domestic abuse, etc). And liberal? That's funny. I've been accused of many things, but never before of being a liberal. I'm from the south, work for the military, own guns, drive a pickup truck, vote conservative, and so on. Hardly the actions of a liberal. Regardless, that doesn't change the fact that Switzerland is an extremely poor example to use in this context.

  • @controversyking

It's because it took centuries for Europe and North America (excluding Mexico) to obtain those rights. The rights were hard-worn by centuries of war and revolutions.

In any society; if the immigrant population of a particular geographic area exceeds 20% the immigrants don't assimilate. Beyond 20% the higher the percentage of immigrants in an area; the less likely immigrant "integration" occurs; let alone "assimilation" of the immigrants.

  • So your argument is that the US should replace it's army with a defensive militia and only allow soldiers to have guns?

Also Switzerland has low crime because they have low unemployment and less social inequality. The majority of the Swiss do not believe that guns prevent crimes and many feel they cause more crimes than they prevent.

  • @uanime1 have u been to Switzerland? Apparently not because the majority of Swiss people love and cherish their right to own firearms.

  • Say what you want: Switzerland has survived without being invaded through 2 world wars where all the countries surrounding them have been fighting. Is the fact that all the people have military training and are allowed to keep their military personal weapons the reason? Who knows? But I wouldn't advocating changing something that is at least part of the formula.

  • Why don't I live in Switzerland. x...[

  • Ahhh Ja, isch scho e schöni sach sones Feldschüsse....

  • God I love Switzerland...

    From Montana.

  • Despite the guns, crime certainly isn't nonexistent in Switzerland. In 2009, police registered a total of 553,421 criminal offenses, including 51 murders, 185 attempted murders, 514 robbery cases, and 667 rapes. Those numbers are not especially low for a country with less than 8 million people. The USA has about 300 million people (roughly 37.5 times more), hence greater crime numbers.

  • @58Gonzalez : You are really living in total denial... and would never be ready to admitt that there is something problematic with the US mentality and its fascination for guns and violence.

Hey... it's really ok and I think it's fantastic you have been created perfect and never have to question yourself... obviously, looking at how everything is perfect in the US, it's really an approach that works.

  • @58Gonzalez : We have to thank your ex-president Bush for having brought to us some world specialists which could not go on with their research in the US, whether on stem cells or energy efficiency. Thank you!

  • @58Gonzalez : PS: if you want to talk about politization of knowledge, you only have to check the denial of global warming which is much alive in the US but close to non-existing in any other nation, especially those with a high share of graduates in physics (Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, China, India, etc.).

I have never heard of people being pressured in their scientific research in Switzerland or Germany. In the US however, colleagues have been !!!

  • @58Gonzalez : This is again a very uneducated attitude...

Not a lot of people know about - however gun ownership in most of Europe IS LEGAL !!! The permitting process is about the same - the only difference is that people are NOT fascinated by violence and guns.

It is typical American to blame the government and not look into a mirror to see the problem. Americans are created perfect and NEVER have to question themselves - it's so nice and convenient.

  • @nigelelsass Good god, you are a leftist and a moron lol.

  • @Warpath2198 : IMPRESSIVE... In moron American language leftist means enemy, even (if the guy is himself pro-markets...) you are really SOOOOO deeply stupid, it's incredible.

  • @58Gonzalez :

You ARE TOTALLY WRONG - here in Switzerland we like centers of knowledge and enlightement. Over 60% of foreigners have higher university degrees.

It's rather that we would accept Berkeley and reject the rest of anglosaxon scum !!!

  • @hpprinter12345 :

STAY WHERE YOU ARE - we don't want any Ron Paul voters - or any anglosaxons for that matter.

  • Lampshades made of people's skins!!! The swiss are probably the most civilized people around because they value freedom at its core, fair tax rates and great quality of life. Yes, the sound of music Von Trapps escaped the Nazis by walking into switzerland. America is becoming fascist, leaning so right it's gonna fall over. Corporate welfare while closing schools. The quickest way to slip into the third world is to educate our kids. Read the definition of fascism, it is us. Wake up!

  • @kierbaudy If America were to be moving towards fascism, it would have to be leaning far to the left. Fascism is a radical authoritarian brand of socialism; the fact that it seeks complete social control merely makes it totalitarian, not 'right wing'. Though nationalism is considered a conservative ideal, the very system of national socialism is left wing in structure. It seems that you need to read the definition of fascism, it is not us.

  • totally want to move to Switzerland now. i wouldent mind if Switzerland invaded California

  • Stay where you are - we do not want Americans here. They ruined their country and several others. No parasites here. Thanks.

  • @nigelelsass sorry that you feel that way and you believe that all Americans are the same, which they are not, and i think you need to not be a prick to someone you have never met and be who gives a flying fuck what you think douche....

  • @BurroBurrito1 : I do not believe all Americans are the same... I am myself married to a US citizen.

Believe me however... if I were to think they are as a whole the brightest and nicest people God has ever created, I would be living over there...

  • a gun in the hands of a FAG is not much use

  • @asssface2000 That doesn't make any sense. A homosexual can't fire a rifle? Nonsense.

  • Swiss govt has only one thing to teach that, "As there exists religious extremism, there exists secular extremism and even secular govt exploit the rights of minorities and give the most stupid explanations!"

    Conclusion : Nutbags are everywhere!!!

  • "The key to freedom is the ability to be able to defend yourself." Thanks for uploading!

  • @Blueprint47 defend who??

  • *Sigh* Correlation does not equal causation. Take a look at the world at large and it turns out that the rat eof private gun ownership plays an at best minimal role when it comes to crime rates. Plenty near-anarchic hellholes plagued by crime where everyone and his dog has an AK, plenty of wealthy countries with no/low gun ownership that have barely any crime problems. Socioeconomic factors as well as religious and ethnical divides tend to play far more of a role.

  • Comment removed

  • @savethegun : To have safety with fireguns you would need to have Swiss instead of angry irrational Americans as a population :-) ...the problem has to do with Americans and their fascination for guns and violence rather than simply gun ownership.

  • VIVA SWITZERLAND!!!!!!

  • In my country I have the right to own anything from single-shot to semi-auto with no caliber, magazine capacity, barrel lenght or any other idiotic restrictions/limitations.

  • LOVE SWISS

  • lol if someone invades our country guns will look out of every window :D

  • @wessfall Your country already has been invaded, nothing seems to happen though!

  • you're fukn BEAUTIFUL for posting this

  • Well said. Beautiful collection too.

  • @gracezchen35 .. ..

Swiss Muslims = <5% of population.

Swiss Muslims in prison = 70-80+% of the prison population

The Swiss outside of cities are very conservative...like farmers & other people in USA's smaller towns and Midwest & Mountain states

A few Somali ** "refugees" have been admitted to SWITZERLAND, not many..(Switzerland=betwn. Italy & Germany)

Somalis are much more common in SWEDEN-where they are a crime wave! (Swedes=Liberal =up north-=Land of the Midnite Sun)

  • @gracezchen35 Thats right brother! They don't an army because they are all brothers and sisters and there is no mud on their land!

  • @gracezchen35 Ok... But what about Eastern Europe? There aren't many muslims or other black/dark-skinned people in Eastern European countries. Still.... crime rates are very high.

  • @gracezchen35 I couldn't have said it better. They're a plague upon mankind.

  • @gracezchen35 that is not true, and please don't refer to Black pepole as "niggers". Before you say it: No I'm neither black nor muslim nor jewish so keep your little nazi propaganda for, your freinds and masturbation time.

Now for the real facts: yes in Swtizerland over 80 percent of crimes are commited by immigrents, mainly blacks and muslims but over 65 percent of immigrants in our beutiful country are honest pepole. So it is more a problem related to proper justice and that is what we need.

  • @gracezchen35

    You are a wise man

  • @gracezchen35: This is soooo uneducated. The US (which includes you) simply doesn't have the population quality of Switzerland. Even immigrants here behave by an excellent standard which most white anglo saxon protestants in the US cannot match.

The first time my opinion on immigration became positive was in Switzerland.

FYI: ethnical groups who comit the most crime in Switzerland are just as white as I am. They are the most discriminated groups.

  • @nigelelsass Switzerland has one of the strictest immigration policies in the entirety of Europe, save maybe Luxembourg and Liechtenstein; and the crime per capita is radically higher amongst immigrants (particularly those of Arab origin).

  • @RebelWrestler45 :

It is not that tight - highly educated people are welcome and anybody with assets over $1.5M can move there.

  • @nigelelsass Exactly my point, that is considered very strict; the US lets in a quota of just about everybody, with the exception of convicted criminals. Switzerland lets in a very small amount of immigrants each year relative to their population, and those who are allowed in are either incredibly rich, or are referred to as Dr.

  • @RebelWrestler45 :

YES BUT - the US population to start with is as a whole of a much lower quality than the Swiss population. . I cannot tell you how happy I am my neighbours are Swiss or immigrants which fit in. Admitt that even Americans cause proportionally more violence than the Swiss, complain more, and the list goes on...

  • @nigelelsass So being Protestant makes me a bad person? Fuck you, the Catholic church has murdered millions, suppressed science and raped children. I'd rather be Lutheran than Catholic any day.

  • @Raging0yster After reading this comment, I get the impression that one of you are Protestant and one of you are Catholic. The other impression I get is, neither of you sound like Christians.

  • Sorry I just do not want to have anything to do with politicized US churches - the real "merchants of the temple". NOTHING appears christian in so-called US christians. Most are an insult to christianity.

  • @nigelelsass

Christianity and especially, Catholicism are ALL about MONEY and making connections.

  • @Raging0yster :I was making a comment about "Anglo Saxon protestants" - which are much different from most protestants.

You might call yourself lutheran - you might still be an insult to what Luther wanted as US churches are polluted with hate against many things Luther stood for in an attempt to be more true to the bible.

  • Right on Marc. the key to freedom IS the ability to defend yourself and your family. Its sad that in all of Europe only the Swiss government trusts its citizens with these types of firearms. All other governments there are oppress law abiding firearms owners.

  • @dlagrua No it isn't. It's not easy to obtain a firearm licence in Lithuania, but it is still possible though. I am a living proof of that. :) I own two guns and I'm planning to buy more.

  • my grand mom 85 years old gos every year on this meeting and sleep every day with this gun in the bed.... if sombody com in the hous she kill him

  • Hurrah for the Swiss!!!

They'll pry my guns out of my cold dead hands!!!!

Wake up Brits...Why did your government disarm you?

  • the "keeping your gear at home" idea is intended solely for fast mobilization during war time (from which switzerland is far away) ... these comparisons with a possible second Nazi Germany are clearly nonsense

  • The Swiss ROCK!
