  • Untamed youth was not the only one of Eddie's movie appearances. There was also a movie called Go Johnny go which was featuring Eddie.

  • I really enjoyed this, thank you so much for sharing :)

  • Fab :) I really enjoyed this, thank you so much for sharing this

  • cool cars!

  • sil vous plait ou trouver ce film ?

  • The guy with the cowboy hat and suit, the one that called the blond girl baby, is an actor that stared in a lot of western movies. The last one that I remember that he was in, was Pale Rider with Clint Eastwood. He was the hired head Ranger that Eastwood shot in the forehead at the end of the movie.

  • @mandrake2273

John Russell (January 3, 1921 – January 19, 1991) was an American actor, and WWII veteran, most noted for playing Marshal Dan Troop in the successful ABC western television series Lawman from 1958 to 1962...(wikipedia)

  • @mandrake2273 Yer right...just add Grey Hair and a Stach

  • @mandrake2273 yes you're right he was also in Rio Bravo.

  • This is the most fifties movie I have ever seen in my whole-life

  • WOW - Mamie Van Doren singing 'Like a Rolling Stone'

  • WOW - Mamie Van Doren singing 'Like a Rolling Stone'

  • This helps me reconnect with my conscience in a very streamlined way. Thanks.

  • Sweet ! - Erkele

  • Eddie Cochran is Leyend...

    Grettings

    and thanks ;).

  • eddie was 17 or 18 when he did this so he gorwn a bit more for sure

  • What is the name of this film?

  • Is it me or does Eddie look pretty short? He's like the height of the girls.

  • the girls are giants

  • \My experience (as a one-time music journalist and musician myself) is that most celebrities are shorter than one expects from observation on film or TV.

Perhaps the reason so many of them, especially short men (for who shortness is more a stigma), go into show business is to compensate for what they lack in physical stature?

When I saw Tina Turner, it clicked--oh yeah, that's why she's called "Tina," for "tiny." She's only about five feet tall.

  • Bruce Springsteen and Tom Cruise are also height-challenged.

I know a guy who has a friend who met The Rolling Stones, won some contest, was required to sign a contract complying with all these demands, one of which was that he wouldn't comment on their age or shortness.

One presumes that in the 1960s and '70s any such Stones contracts only stipulated one refrain from mentioning the band's collective heights.

  • @goofygoat2009 Eddie was only about 5'8" and had size 6 feet(had to have shoes specially made).

  • @goofygoat2009 eddie was on 5"9" anyways.

  • phwoar, mamie van doren is a bit of alright (with the sound turned down)

  • Wasn't that deputy guy the sheriff in Ocean's 11?

  • Cool

  • Those teens doesn't seem to be that bad. Times changes. Nice to see Eddie

  • Wow, if Eddie Cochran was around, I'd be a trollop! Heehee! But only for him so...

  • liken this flick!

  • Thanks for the clip :) Never seen this movie and it looks like Eddie had more speaking lines I expected.

  • He also composed the music of the film. It is no doubt a historic musical document from the early Rock'n'Roll movement of the '50s. Eddie got about 100 dollars for his job. That's a shame

  • @rickyvale Impressive. If I am ever a musician, I would use nobody's songs but my own

  • Wow this looks like a pretty good movie! I watched this clip all the way. This movie looks like it was ahead of its time for 1957. That coyboy officer guy was an ass to the house keeper chick. I want to punch that guy for treating her that way. :) Anyways what is the name of this movie? It kind of reminds me of the movie "Cry Baby" starring Johnny Depp.

  • Untamed Youth

  • Eddie Cochran played the role of Bong in this movie. Hmmmm

  • Amazing the amount of music that girl is able to get out of one guitar. Eddie sings the song "Cotton Picker" in this movie, but not in this clip.

  • its untamed youth and i havent seen it for 20 years or more.

  • never seen this film before.

  • Oddly, one of the cotton pickers looked slightly like "Donny" from my name is earl, and another one of them looked like "Joy"

  • Whoa! Love that 56 Merc stationwagon. Who do you complain to about abusive treatment?? LOL

Don't tell me, the police chief is also the judge, right~ :) Jack

  • Where can I buy a DVD of Untamed Youth? I've searched and searched with no luck. Mamie and Eddie are highest among my favorites.
