You know, as much as I root for Afro in the movies, I've realized that he's no better than his opponents, maybe even worse. See, he's in a position to make the world a better place by breaking the cycle of destruction, but instead he makes it worse by killing more people, people that have lived under this suicidal system for centuries, and they were trying to stop him for the greater good. So if you put it in a racial context, you could say that "AfroSamurai" is an anime blaxploitation movie.

@Folk4Life100 Maybe, but he is most certainly a bad ass. His actions may not be correct according to our moral system, but he's doing what he thinks is right, what his father taught him. He is also acting accordingly to the moral system that exists in the society as we see it in the series/movie. So calling it a blaxploitation movie is going a bit too far in my opinion.
