this was like the chinese version of silent hill i mean what were they thinkin when they made it it wasnt bad but it wasnt scary not that sillent hill was scary but still it had some nice creepy moments

This film is absolutely exceptional. Beyond belief! Truly a classic!! I adore any film like this; that takes us on a mesmerising journey. Re-cycle, Izo, Spider Forest... there should be more movies like these!

Why even bother censoring a word at all if you're only going to censor ONE letter. And Silent Hill had great sets, art, special effects, music, and cinematography, but it had really bad writing and acting. And The Grudge is very mediocre.

This movie is indeed a master-piece. Such a beautiful movie. It's not really a horror movie, though. The genres are basically adventure, fantasy, drama, melodrama, and a smudge of horror. If I was to define it by one genre alone, I would have no idea what to say.

Do not expect to be frightened by it, either way. Maybe a tiny bit at the beginning.

The Pang Bros. chilled us to the bone with "The Eye" and "The Eye 2". "Re-cycle" is their masterpiece. Once again the Pang Bros. went with Lee Sinje as the lead character. Very smart choice. She is a very talented actress and a beautiful woman. The Pang Bros. American movie debut "The Messengers" was pretty good. Some of their other credits are "Omen", "Bangkok Haunted", "Bangkok Dangerous", "Ab-normal Beauty", "Tesseract", "Forest of Death", "Diary" and "In Love With The Dead".

I just watched this Pang Brother's masterpiece. I have to say one of the best horror films I've ever seen, and very beautifully shot. And with Angelica Lee as the cherry on top, it's just truly stunning. I recommended for not just asian horror lovers, but for any horror movie lover out there.

The Pang Brothers have never let me down with any of their horror movies.

And today was the release of the US version of the DVD. (Hence me renting it today.) I might actually buy this movie soon.
