@WowzaBoyz Actually it was an factory option back at the time, I believe through 1987 and 1988. Later on the digital dash was discontinued in 1989 which was a let down Because the Trans Am GTA and the C4 Corvette (84 to 89) were way a head of it's time.
Oh, I' m sorry !!! Chevy 305 LB9 TPI got 19 lbs from 1985 through 1992 !!!!!!
I' d add that all the electonic controlled GM Fuel Injection systems ( Tuned Port Injection and Multi Port Fuel Injection) were Bosh designed.
Throttle bodies and all the emission reducing systems ( Evaporative Emission Control ), purge valve and charcoal canister were manufactured by Rochester.
I love the black and gold edition how come some of the GTAS did not have the bird on the hood? Word of advice I had a 91 camaro and make sure u always double check for the t-tops are in place cause mine blow off and thankfully no one was behind. And double check the rubbering around the t-tops
Nice Alex.... thanks for the details on the engine. I didn't know it was the same block as the 350. and that the displacement is minimal. I did have mine bored out slightly and did feel a major difference in the power. Take care of that baby....
Difference between L98 and LB9. LB9 had 19lb injectors, L98 had 22lb. Also the LB9 that came with the 5 speeds came with L98 camshaft instead of the standard LB9 cam, which was why the power was boosted from about 205 to 210 HP auto LB9 to 230 HP for the manual LB9 cars. the knock sensors are different too btw, if you were to do a 350 swap on the LB9 features the knock sensor on the 305 wont work, ecm would need 350 chip too. So just clarifying that not everything between the two are the same

OE injectors of cars manufactuerd from 1985 to 1988 were by Bosh, instead from 1989 to 1992 by Multec.MAF sensors were by Bosh too !!!!
