Wow, the fresh heart looks more easily to cut than the ones I get from the grocer, which practically needs a saw to get through it. Plus the grocer's beef heart smells AWFUL! Glad your dog is happy!

Jerry was a pound puppy ... mostly German Shepherd with some Border Collie mixed in, we think.

Thanks a lot for clearing it up. I have thought for many years that mine was a Sheppard dog and Fox Terrier mix, but I will probably never know for sure. I will make a short video with him after the hollidays.
