just saw these videos. I have never tried his program, or anything like that. BUT, there is a truth in what he says. I am naturally good at imitating people (not blowing a trumpet here), and I easily imitate subtle hints of other people's personality, their style of speaking and even accents. I speak quite slow so I am guessing I might be doing the breathing thing (not sure tho). all in all I find it really easy to get people to agree with me on things and make new friends.

I think it's a small, barely perceptible difference, that adds up, or is one of many things you need to do to be liked. I think it may help, but is not by itself a magical revolutionary change.

Second, it would be easy to write a dialogue with embedded commands, but in a real conversation I would either have to know what to say in advance & hope I find an opening that doesn't sound out of place, or rely on my ability to improvise a command during the conversation. Mirroring is something you can do any time, without talking, to make the interaction more agreeable.
