Thanks for this video. Your lucky to have met him. He was the reason I started singing. Fast forward 6 years and much band is almost done with our first album. I will use that advice he gave you. Also I'll give you advice being a singer. Sing from your heart. Literally. It has helped me so much. Thanks

He probably gave you the best possible advice, which is simply to keep practicing. In which case I could see why you'd keep it a secret-- to preserve the appearance of some mystical, enlightening encounter with Brandon Boyd.

@Breaker8nine it was mystical and enlightening! ha but this is what he told me. He thought about it for a while ignoring all those around him then he looked at me and said, "just have fun." and at first I was like... "...." but then I let it sink in and realized that I had been so focused on improving my technique that I was forgetting the most important thing about music which is to feed the soul =)

I was there. I also saw the tattoo up close. Yep, that was Brandon. I told him thank you for getting me an A in my last art class back in high school. I drew him along with a drawing of his from his first book. It was draw your favorite artist.
