Daytona 675 VS 2R1

Never heard of a bike punking a bike but there is a such thing as 1 driver being better than another. passing a litter bike on a 600 doesn't make it special, but nice driving none the less. I love the new 675 but I'll probably still go around a track faster on a old 04 1000rrasaurus lol

Ohhh yeah baby and that's EXACTLY why I got my D675, you can't drop those R1's in the tight twisties like you can the 675. Love that bike, not a big fan of the R1 anyways.

i have a black daytona 675 with just a triumph end can, i ride with several guys that have old and new R1s they are track day riders and are alot fater and more experianced riders than me, you'd b suprised how much harder it is to chuck an R1 around compared to a 675, around all tight corners am up there arse, even pulling out of corners am rite behind them up till around 110mph then they slowly crawl off, not dust off, size and weight makes R1 harder to ride. a 675 can carry more corner speed

@smeg1779 as far as i know, the Daytona is heavier than the R1, weighting 185kg, while R1 = 172kg. am i wrong?

@luisbaltazar1 bro, ur just mistake lol, so it is was dry weight i got r1 few years ago it is 209 kg full gas in it ;) i have raced all 600, never race race with zx636 before but i have race 675 at tigard, portland, i beat his ass very easy cuz i am very good rider, and 675's rider is very good too. i won easy. but one woosh break my r1 nose, i saw it was k9 busa with brock exhaust damn near 190 whp with racing exhaust, my r1 only 156 whp, he not beat me that very easy , i will get 200hp soon ;)

yea as much as I love my Daytona, there's no way those R1's should've been passed by him on the OUTSIDE. The guy on the Daytona was simply a much better rider.

I own a daytona 675, but lets get real here. There is a distinct lack of talent on those R1,s. I once passed a hyabusa with an aprilia rs 250. So what, the guy on the suzuki sucked ass.

Hey man i just had a test ride of one on the weekend and i am sold to it they are awesome, For you mate i am not sure i am 6ft and about 200 pounds found it a small bike with plenty of weight over my wrists which = aches. Having said that you get it with most sports bikes, for me the fact that it is such a good bike and so much fun to ride greatly out weighs anything else, my advice have a test ride go for a while (over 30mins) then decide, hope this helped good luck.
