  • Thanks for the review.

    Very well done!

  • is the 711g mora knife stainless and where did you buy it

  • i'm looking at getting my first mora and am looking at using as a neck knife, would you say that the clipper style knife would work in that roll? or is it too thick or heavy? or is there another style (besides the straight wooden handle one) that you think would work better?

    thanks for posting and assisting

  • Mora's steel is good, it's hardened to 59/60 hrc,it's not soft, the triflex, the high carbon and the sandvik steels are very good,a excelent stainless for the price (the sandvik) it's a small knife and is good for battoning , so you won't need a full tang,i never saw or knew one broken.it's excelent for the price, and one of the most used bushcraft knifes in the world,if you want a bigger knife take the Cs Bushman, and don't judge it for the price , it's better than a lot of overpriced knifes...

  • great review of great knives sir!

  • dude that clipper will out do any of the others trust me

  • spyderco bushcraft ftw

  • Mora nmbr. 2 was the first knife I ever owned :]

  • in sweden most of those knives are used by carpenters and other type of workers. only diference is they are red/blue

  • @mikefalt That's not correct. The cheaper Mora's use a shorter tang, a pretty bad grip and softer/cheaper steel.

  • I thought the bird was another video i was loading

  • Dose he really think that 711 is going to chop?

  • If you wont a great sheath for your mora check out kydexoutdoors great video

  • which is longer the #2 or the 711?

  • Awesome video, if you want to see more information about different grades of steel, what the difference is between Carbon and Stainless is, or in fact you want to know about other knives and such things that can be used to kill Americans, message me for information on my blog (via YouTube) or send me a message on my YouTube profile!

  • @levelingup u'r brain is unlevel.noone needs u'r warped information you're blog is for jerks.go take a flying leap off a cliff that would help america the most.

  • Mora knifes has been made and sold for 120 years and it´s really good!!!

  • That bird was doing the 'Psycho' shower scene sound effects when you were waving that knife 1.08,,,weird, lol,btw great review

  • Good deal. I love my Mora knives. I will take out my Bushcraft Triflex over my Turley Bushcraft any day.

  • such as Ray Mears, Cody Lundin...

  • many expert survivalists use mora knives!!!

  • what is lamanated steel

  • people always say that mora is crap because its not full tang it doesnt matter it wont fail and if for some slim chance it does ur not gonna go broke buying a new one

  • does anyone know if the tang on mora knives extends the entire length of the handle or to put it differently, are mora knives full tang knives. thanks

  • @roaringwaterbay they're like 3/4 tang I think.

  • moras are more of a cutting knife, imagine them as a folding knife or caping knife, dont be expecting to do a lot of hacking stabbing or chopping, just cutting and slicing.

  • do a better one on th second last one

  • where did u buy them?

  • @garythesaint44 These are not crap knives, they are quality and well worth getting a couple of them.

  • @TheRedHawk123 i agree with you i just boutr a carving knife (thumbs up to you sir :) )

  • @TheRedHawk123 Agreed!

  • @TheRedHawk123 If he thinks they are crap knifes, then why did he even think about findind a video about them.

  • Comment removed

  • @garythesaint44 Check out other Mora reviewers; the Mora is a very well respected all around bushcraft knife for a reasonable price. Why pay $35 - $80 for a Martin, when a Mora will do what is needed for much less cash? I'd rather lose or break two Moras than lose a Martin! "Get yerself a Randall - they're $2000"!

  • @garythesaint44 these are the best knives i have ever used. even better than big companies and knives that cost 100 plus dollars

  • @garythesaint44 Razor sharp holds a blade well. Inexpensive high quality knife that will survive well in the woods. I use mine more than my Ka-Bar. Normal tasks are easily completed with any of the Mora line knifes.

  • @garythesaint44 By far some of the finest knives made.....Go spend more and get less or buy a Mora and get the quality renowned by many bushcrafters.

  • @garythesaint44 Where is the fun in that?

  • @garythesaint44 cause making spoons and bowls is part of bushcraft

  • gerber and cold steel it better

  • I'm about 99% certain that the blade and tang on the 911 is the same as on the 711 bro.The only difference I think is the actual thickness of the handle...

  • are you seriously chopping with a mora knife? rofl.

  • Look at what this guy did with a Mora: watch?v=B_ZZj-5A9u0 - the second half of the video is particularly hard on the knife.

It's a 740, judging from the tags on the video.

  • which 2 are heavy duty knives out of all

  • mora craftline allround

  • i thoght the bird was a sound effect for that scythe lookin thing haha

  • i have used the 870mg for batoning before. works great. i would recommend something like a Ka-Bar hunting/utility or an onterio RD-9. both great for that. and you should try out a J. Marttinni. great knives.

  • i can't find the 711g anywhere, would you might no where to get one?

  • a mora isnt a bushcraft knife, its an outdoors knife

    there still good tho

  • Nice review, but too much zoom and too much waving the knife around. It looks like the Blair Witch Project for Pete's sake!

  • can u maken a review on the number 2

  • i bet ur a boy scout..lol

  • Love the 840 MG

  • I like the no. 2 the most

  • What do you think of the 740 MG?

  • Nice variety of knives, good review, keep up the good work!

  • I'm going to order one of those mora MG Clippers, and keep it in my mess kit for cutting my steaks : ) You did a fine job reviewing them. Thumbs up. ~Wolf

  • mora knife! directly from Mora in Dalarna in sweden!

  • Nice video - I am your newest subscriber.

  • so which one is good for chopping?

  • @Wildernesskev Well they are all medium size knives, Not big for chopping but battoning. i'd say the 711G.

  • @Wildernesskev Using a knife for chopping is a waste of time. Anything that can be reasonably chopped with a knife could more easily be cut with a folding saw. Leave the serious wood for an axe.

  • good video

  • Great video. I love Mora. Just got the Mora Rope Knife - nice!

  • bird kicks ass')

  • um do you think the 711 is to big for your hand cause thts the one i think ima get if not tht the 911 or #2.

  • No, its fine. All are great choices

  • whick is your favorite.

  • 711G

  • I just got my mora #1 from bensbackwoods didn't come as sharp as i exspected but still a great deal for $10

  • nice review

  • dont cut the guard down the guard keeps the knife in the shaeath i was chooping with myne and i hit the guard ounce now it will not stay in the sheath but i put a root strap around it and thet helps

  • sure thing, I'll show these knives with a better overlook in the future

  • Hey dude! Nice collection you got there! I´m planing to get some moras, myself! I guess I´ll get a fulltang one if I can! Anyway, great vid man!5*****!

  • Hey for around 10$ it's a great deal.

  • Where do you order yours from? like a website or something would be great, the only one i can find is the clipper.

  • Hey there awesome video, i was just wondering if you could tell me where you got the second knife from thanks.

  • Great common man knives. Good selection. Do you have a fav. personally I like the K-Bar.

  • Yah i'd like to look into K-bar but, these moras get the job done. the clipper is probably my favorite now,

  • nice variety!

you turned me on to the 711

and i believe the clippers tang is like an inch in the handle.

    5/5.

  • yes, but more like an inch and 3/4

  • Definately get that knife, it's great. it's like 12$ and chops perfectly.

  • Nice Vid. Ima get meh some mora's now :). Which one would you prefer for crafts, wittling, and basic bushcraft?

  • umm, either the S-2( with the red handle). or the 840mg Clipper, the black and green one.

  • could you do a more indepth review of the clipper and s2

  • sure I'll go over them a bit more in my next video, everyone seems to really like the Clipper.

  • thanks harison

  • cool looking knives! Can`t go wrong with the Mora``s....5/5

My 2 personnal favorites are the clipper and the 711 g
