I think it would be nice to hear the amp playing blues. The single note tones isn't represented much as you play mostly chords. Also, is the EF89 on a seprate channel?
I'd like to hear both channels,if there is a straight EL84 channel and one with the EF86 signal path blended in.
@steveracer16 Hi Steve, I have a matchless with both a 12ax7 preamp channel and a ef86 preamp channel like this amp. The EL84 is a power tube and not part of any channel of preamp. This Savage amp has only a one channel preamp -EF86. essentially a double gain 12ax7 with mega touch response. I also had a Blitz 50 I loved mucho and miss.
