You are all morons being stimulated my mental masturbation if you believe that crap. 2,300 power chords, point A to B. Does this mean you rewire your entire home with it? because its only good as its weakest link. I cant believe the marketing crap that is out there.. They sell audio amplifiers for close to 60,000 and even those come with standard osha chords in the 12 awg range..
To people who watch this and Crutchfield. There are countless studies done in which exotic cables DO NOT make an audible difference. There has never been evidence (other than listening which could be due to perception because of pseudo-science) that suggests these cables ca make a difference. I'm not saying all cables are created equal but like anything there comes a point where differences cannot be detected anymore. IMO monster cable is the most you should ever spend.
@jayfulf The build and supposed geometry or how the cable wiring is in essence protected or designed so as to minimize distortion of the signal.
You find better engineered/design/manufactured cables in the more exotic private non-mass consumer lines. Its all a choices by individuals and yes, each one of us perceives audio differently & some listen more accurately than others. We adapt.
I'm not sure a company like Monster who now markets thug branded headphones can be taken seriously anymore
@wendileona You should read my comment more carefully as I suggest spending no more than a company such as monster would price their cables. Since you have mentioned that I will also point out that the majority of "exotic" cables are hand made (or inferior) to monster cables in that sense. These companies also don't have the same funds to advance research and development. All I'm pointing out is that if there is insufficient evidence to prove the benefit, don't go buying Nordost Odin's.
@TheRettom Personally i agree with Jayfulf. A $50 HDMI cable will get a good enough quility image, there is NO point in $100+ cables. but then again I think its a really bad idea to buy a $10 walmart HDMI cable.
Yes, my son has a PS3, and we used a cheap HDMI cable, at first it worked just fine. Then he took his PS3 to a friend's house for a night. We couldn't get the PS3 to work back at home. We troubleshooted it down to the HDMI cable no longer working. I got a new (better) one and it's worked fine ever since. And he's taken it to numerouse friend's houses since then.
If it works it works, and you'll be fine, but when the cable stops working, it's annoying.
@TheRettom absolutely not. Only difference is build quality and how long it will last. HDMI transmits digital information, and that means if even a tiny portion of data gets corrupted you will get no signal. In other words, HDMI cables either work perfectly, or not at all. If you're getting picture and sounds, it's not getting any better.

Does a better HDMI cable make gaming any better? I mean like different HDMI cables, like a cheapo one compared to a 50$ one?

@TheRettom All you need is good quality cables. You don't need these ridiculously expensive exotic cables, but don't go for the cheapest of cheap.
