It's amazing how detailed the aircraft was for the age of this game, I still run it on Win 7 and it runs nicely. Just wish I could get the squadron mods working, that's another story altogether....

is this a new version on B-17 Flying fortress the mighty eight ? I used to have a PC game called that back around 1998, ran on my 386. If new where can I get it ?

@MrWooaa good question, your stuck with them, unless you choose the other campaign mode where you choose what to carry and where to bomb,alittle more work but its well worth it.

ok! I was able to take off but I had to use the turbo controls and put them all the way down?? also while following your video i did all the steps the same but I noticed when I got all engines up and running I was no longer able to use the + and - key to control the throttle?? maybe i pressed something? and another question, how do you look at maps, objectives while flying?

@sean00fl ah! good call i forgot about this simple glitch that could been repaired. For some reason not having the AI start your engines 4 you. Leads to this, simple, now don't take my word for it, as its been awhile, but after your start all your engines,and are ready, just press M for the auto pilot AI and then back. should fix your problem , what type of controller are you using? i had dug around the internet long enough to have my PS3 controller work on PC. works awesome for this game too.

why did you put the cow flap for engine 1 at 30 perc and no others ?

This was a great game, but I've always had trouble keeping on the right navigation course.

@zadeh79 You mean by the navigator allways getting lost or trying to fly manually. I could never fly the plane straight or on course anyhow.
