  • I see why rappers like zion I have to go more main stream. It's the only way to make real money. I just watched "The bay" by zion i. It's truly one of my favorites. But it doesn't even have 5000 views. People have no idea how great that song is

  • girl'S good dance ...

  • @MultiDENRI ???

  • Damn... I remember the days when Zion I had maybe 1 music video? The only way to hear them was albums. aha. Good days man.

  • Wow...it wasn't until 1:46 that I realized that it was a 'Alice in Wonderland" theme. LoL #dontjudgeme

  • im bout to see them today :))

  • dont insult zion i like that he sounds nothing like lil wayne hes actually good

  • I have no idea why but this song gave me a boner when I listen to it.

  • ungh! everything about this song/video is sick! i got my bass face on listening to this shizzzzz hells yes!

  • sick beat!!

  • LOL look at all you fools gettin all fired up over OPINIONS. If you don't like the song go find another one.

  • video tripped me out hellaaa!

  • Yall broke ass mother fuckers need to stop hatin and make your own money...nobody cares bout your fake ass uneducated opinions

  • Yeah. his voice sounds like waybe kinda. But god damn zion is way better.

  • lil wayne is like zion i's cheap imitation, thats why hes not so good

  • Zion sounds like Wayne? what the shit?

  • Kanye a bitch cant rap for shit lil wayne can suck my dick drake nikki all this new generation shit garbage fuck music nowa days i wanna murder all thier families

  • I've been looking for this forever because I thought it was by Lil Wayne..

  • WTF IS THIS

  • @dAiLER16 amazingness

  • Reminds me Mr.Lif Both Great

  • This is one of the sickest videos!!!!

  • Straight bumpin'

  • the problem with lil wayne is not the beats. The problem with him is that his lyrics suck and that he has no talent in terms of actually rapping. Some underground artists would actually benefit from mainstream production value. You can't deny for example, that Kanye West and Dr. Dre are good producers. Underground stuff is more lyrical and diverse (reason I like it), but its often not great in terms of being well produced (this is less true for zion I than other underground artists).

  • @ls1867a idk which lil wayne your talkin about but the one i know is very lyrical, but ive also stopped listenin to him as much as i used to so maybe things have changed but i know for a fact his lyric can be very good

none the less this song great

  • @ls1867a are you fucking deaf? what good beat has kanye made and dr dre? yeah he used to be sick but that i need a dr song is fucking garbage any thing hes made after 02 has been garbage and im not gonna waste my breath on kanye or lil wayne

  • @shityrunfun I need a Doctor is not a Dre beat. And Kanye is one of the best mainstream producers of all time.

  • @ls1867a dude shut the fuck up lil wayne is a great rapper and his lyrics are great so shut the fuck up

  • @ls1867a

wow, what a moronic comment, Lil wayne beats all sound wack to me, they got the same fucking feeling of broke-ass producing, even tho' he's flooded in money...mainstream producers make HIP POP, and it would take a long-ass comment fr u to understand the difference between actual Hip Hop producers and Hip POP producers, Dre is far from what he was, and so is Kanye, don't talk about the underground unless u actually know it.

  • this isn't even mainstream. Their most mainstream song is don't lose your head and that song is still legit. Most underrated group out there.

  • Who is the white rabbit?

  • i never liked zion i that much because to me they always sounded mainstream

  • @InstrumentalHipHop1 are u not allowed to like any mainstream?

  • @obie91 it is a overused sound

  • @InstrumentalHipHop1 mainstream is not a sound..

  • @obie91 i wish

  • @InstrumentalHipHop1 and no Mainstream is not a sound, Mainstream means that the artist is in rotation on major television networks and radio stations. Which in most cases, leads to the artists becoming commercial and selling out. Not all do, but majority does.

  • @InstrumentalHipHop1 people like you are fucking retarded....

  • @wudofudo sure

  • zion is trying to be wayne... boycott time.

  • @poinnovate WTF are you talking about?!

  • @poinnovate you're a fuckin idiot. how is zion i tryin to be wayne?

  • @flashflan21 First of all, you suck for making me come back to this bullshit song to post another comment. 2nd, listen to him lol... why would you wanna bite the style of one of the wackest fucks in the genre? smh.

  • @poinnovate wayne moans and shit when he tries to flow. i dont hear none of that. i think someone needs to get their ears checked

  • @flashflan21 Lol. You must just refuse to believe it. Oh well, have a good life.

  • @poinnovate you too dick nose

  • !!!!!!!!!!!! = I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!

  • I r notz tryin 2 trollolol but this sound lyk lil wayne

  • @caliumn What fucking song were you listening to? Every Lil Wayne track sounds like five minutes of fail engulfed in ignorance.

  • @YomiTen dude aint lyin, zion was trying to ride that bandwagon with this song. respect=gone

  • @caliumn This sounds nothing like little fucking wayne it sounds like Zion I. Oh and a tip, learn to spell.

  • simply the best song ever!

  • this song is cool i really like it!

  • there is way too much talent and originality in this song for it to be considered commercial.

  • gay beat

  • Zion I didnt sell out at all.. If you had have listened to the album you'd know that this is the only song that hits really hard and dummy.. Its a perfect intro to the album and a perfect Zion I song to go dumb to at a party. Don't be stupid and make assumptions.. learn the facts.

If you were trying to look for underground sounds try his album, obviously not youtube..

  • i dont even like rap at all.... but zion makes it so good :D

  • It shows the room number as 808 as soon as the bass drops..."808's and synthesizers don't mean your shit is fire"

  • @JaLomangino Duh dude lol

  • disregarding the lyrical genius of this man. the beat sucks dick. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION. i like real instrumental samples and that ( see stuff my classified and slug (atmosphere)) and this is far too computer generated for my liking. i think that too much base, stupid snares and fake voices kill it. could have done so much better with these lyrics

  • MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ARTIST!!!!!1

  • I think cause there's less of a psychedelics edge and ambiance and more of a crazy beats and does appear to be more of a mainstream rap. But I personally like his music it's like a combo of raving beats with that hip-hop + rap style. I love listening to him while i'm rolling face.

  • Idk why people are saying this sounds mainstream.. I honestly don't hear anything on the radio close the level of this right here

  • @MrKeepIttReal i could understand how people would think it sounds mainstream, a really catchy mainstream type beat, but his lyrics and flow are what keeps it underground, real hip hop

  • this guy is dope

  • beat go h4rd

  • i love his necklace XD

  • man this shit goes haaarrrddd son!!

  • minus the dancers this video sucks.

  • dude ikr 102,096 views is really mainstream.... mr purple your an idiot

  • honestly zion i used to be good but now he is too mainsteam

  • why.... why... what happened to them sorry but this song and the album was terrible zion i u sold out

  • @iSupportUnderground how did he sell out just because he went mainstream doesnt mean he sold out,man keep it real.fool.

  • its official im teaching myself that dance

  • a mili

  • it is time to get dumb

  • nobody touchin this -- where do you think the mainstream gets its. envelope been pushed BANG IT ON EM !!!

  • aite, let me lay it down.. i'm not feelin' this track at all. thats my opinion.. Tyler5000gb, u need to quit acting like a computer thug.

  • I Think You Just Have Bad Taste In Music.

This Is Real Music Right here.

    They Will Never Sell Out

Zumba Doesnt Really Sound Like Wayne I Like His Voice More That Dwayne Lames....

An Zumba Has Way Better Lyrical Content.

They Didnt Fuckin Sell Out, Take Off Your Phanny Pack An napsack Faggot

  • @ezearl i think people are missing the point when they say he has sold out. yes maybe the beat sucks ( i think so but thats my taste) but if he sold out he would be all over the radio rapping about hoes and irrelevant and juvenile shit. he is not. his lyrics are tiiiight.

  • i think they sold out

  • zion i is firee

  • dont try to keep them in your back pocket

  • I just think this goes to show that Zion I is showing how fucking easy it is to be mainstream. Zion I is versatile as hell unlike any mainstream joke out there.

  • Good idea for the video

  • hey nikeskater416.. take zion i's dick outta ur ass..

  • @yadadameen

lol, you catching feelings cause you love backpack rap? A. Zumba sounds nothing like Wayne, I think you need to get your speakers fixed. B. Zion I's producer, Amplive, produced this beat. If you have problems, why don't you address the artists personally instead of being a bitch?

  • lil wayns gos notha on tis guy

  • i'm not hating on zion i but why would zion i all of a sudden form into lil wayne imposter/ outtter space alien monkey babbling around like a douche. and whoever produced that beat, it doesnt slapp, in fact u should get slappt in the face to help you realize what you have created.

  • @yadadameen damn that sucks that you feel that way.

i'm not even being sarcastic im serious.

this song is fuckin tight. did you ever take the time to figure out the lyrics?

just for arguments sake, lets say he sounds like lil wayne in this song. still doesn't matter cus at the end of the day Zion I is actually talking about something with positive meaning.

i got a single 12 in the back of my car, this song slaps so hard on -5 bass

  • Why is that idiot yadadameen so obsessed with proving his point? We get it ,you don't like it, MOVE ON. And why does every black man with dreads have to be compared to another popular black man with dreads??? Ignorant losers, this song GOES!

  • Comment removed

  • what a ripoff he's good but he is riding lil waynes dick so hard omfg the vocalization the acent the dread omfg be urself

  • He debuted 2 years before Lil Wayne did...So technically Lil Wayne would be the poser.

  • i think lil wayne fucked zion i in the a** and passed on his swagger.. you might as well start singing in autotunes next and started suckin on sum lollipops..

  • i think lil wayne fucked zion i in the a** and passed on his swagger.. you might as well start singing in autotunes next and started suckin on sum lollipops..

  • real life depiction of zion's place. true story.

  • this song slaps

  • He mentions in a few of his songs off this album that his sound has evolved into "boom bap" or something, in his words, but he's proud of it, if you look back at all his music there's always been a few more 'commercial' songs, for example ; hit 'em. He's still Zion I, he's a refreshing sound in hip hop, and he does it without the facade of pretending to be a hard ass gangster like most cash cow rappers these days.

  • @NotYourAverageMoron you mean zumbi and amplive? zion i is the name of the duo, not the rapper.

  • @RiclistLature

    No doubt.

  • @NotYourAverageMoron Boom Bap is an early style of hip hop, used mostly in the 80s to early 90s.

  • GenesisHaze > nikeskater416. Name-wise and all other aspects.

  • There are some nice songs on this album, like caged bird, coastin...yet I prefer their older stuff, especially True&Livin'

  • wow,tell me please,how is¿ i'm from weast coast spain,vigo,and zion i ,most sure never come here...

    it's a great show¿

  • Anyone else notice that the appt number on one of those doors is 808?

  • Probably one of my current favorites... Shit is ridiculous....

  • Lovin the Alice in Wonderland feel of this video... its sick... Zion I does it again

  • My favorite Zion I song & video!

  • i don't like their new style

the old shit was much better

  • @thasoulfly agreed

  • I dont believe the spiritual trip hop was a gimmick either. Its actually what got me into them. They just didnt have a song on the new album that was bluntly spiritual like the song silly puddy. U can interperet the songs to mean many different things. And caged bird is about the fucked up shit goin on in the bay

  • ilike the mv, its kinda silly haha

  • Awsome video

  • co mother f**** sign. That's what I did. I hate music in the early mid 00's so I make my own.

  • They didnt sell out. Their just getting into a new sound. Tryin to get away from the spiritual trip hop shit they were into. Dont get me wrong all of that was good but its refreshing to hear something different from them. And zumbi just started golddust records so more radio friendly shit is gonna help his label a lot more. Dont lose your head

  • @kennbob707 They still had some spiritual tracks on the album like Antenna and Caged Bird. Also, I always assumed their spiritual trip-hop wasn't a gimmick. I was always under the impression that Zumbi referring to Jah meant he was rasta. Anyway, loved this album. Peace.

  • zion i sold out.......this is a sad sad day

  • @freshness222

how did zion i sell out? because you think the beat is too mainstream? take off your fucking backpack

  • Beat is shit there old style was much better

  • @nikeskater416 i agree! this track is dope!

  • @nikeskater416 word up. this is above and beyond on so many levels

  • @nikeskater416 comparing this song to the video for finger paint and others I would also consider this song as trying to go mainstream / club.

  • @twizted25

this doesn't sound much different from the whole street legends album, which i'm sure everyone bitching about the beat has never heard, so they assume zion i used to be a super-hardcore-real-underground-backpack-lyrical-boom bap group for 10 years and are selling out. fuck hip hop fans, we're all stupid as fuck haha.

  • @nikeskater416 I never said anything about selling out. Just said it sounded very club/mainstream

  • yeah mother fucker i pieced it togeather thanks puss.

  • notice the door says 808 then 2 seconds later is the best 808's ever

  • @ThConley

Did you figure that out all by yourself?

  • Holy fuckkkk.

  • fuck that zion i ia the shit! the take over is the best

  • mustv never heard their other albums

  • Alice In Wonderland?

  • anyone else think this doesnt have the same feel as his old stuff?

  • @selllout101 why would it?

  • I love ZION I!! Amp Live is a dope ass dj & Zumbi got thee flow tho..

  • Sick..... just wish there was another verse

  • Absolutely Incredible.

  • haha i love the ridiculously epic intro then it fades into zumbi rhymin over some 808

  • I like the 808 room personally. thought it was the coolest room thy went in.

  • classic :)

  • where the wild things are..

  • I got my mom to make me the rabbit hoody out of real fur.

  • LMAO @ the way he starts off

  • Best video iv'e seen in years!

  • that rabbits fuckin scary

  • best song ive heard in years

  • the dancers being off makes me know how real and fuckin tight this shit is

  • Is it me or are the dancers kind of off? Still like the dance though.

  • they are off..

  • hey can anybod please tell me how to change audio into that big voiced effect the one that says " geek to the beat " and " let the 808 take youre mind "...? Please i would appreciate it so much. Btw this song is boss!

  • If you buy the song's MP3 you can use programs like Cool Edit Pro to sample those 2 lines.
