This is turning out to be really good! I guess Spark works just fine, but for Speed running I tend to just evade enemies and take small damage when needed. Like waiting for the cannons, I just time it so I jump when they're not shooting, or take a hit.

Not really a reply, but I needed to say:
At the place with the high-jump things, why didn't you use one? You didn't need Spark for the last two rooms.
Just a suggestion.

The boss fight is much, much, much quicker with Spark. No point of saving a few seconds where Hi-Jump helps, versus the amount saved from using Spark.

GBA. I'm not sure it's sold anymore, so VisualBoy Advance is your best bet (emulator).
