    where is that store at?

  • @CeeCeeRoxx

    - Downtown toronto

Store is called worlds biggest bookstore

  • @mistressladyx ok thanks!

even though its in canada...ill force my mom to take me XD

  • @CeeCeeRoxx

    LOL

    No prob ;)

  • my borders is like that, it has two full aisles of manga, its freaking sweet, but ur store has more

  • @amare2manga

    =D

  • I couldn't read the spines is fullmetal alchemist there? 'cause that'd be awesome fma ftw:D

  • @ZeldaWolf2000

    most likely :P

  • @mistressladyx cooleo best series ever :D

  • omg.. O.o I would just rob that shop :D

  • @mitok1995

    XD lol

  • How much do the manga cost there?

  • @pandaloverkay

    - In that store it was all in Canadian prices. higher then US.

    $10 & up

  • you know, naming those actual manga stores (not BMV) where you can get manga for US prices would be helpful... that goes for everybody commenting on here, damn it! ;P

  • @sh4dow83

    X)

I will - currently planning on a toronto guide to all the best shops.

    do you live in toronto?

  • @mistressladyx yes i do. and i plan on checking out BMV, world's biggest bookstore, the beguiling and one million comix today. probably in that order =)

  • @sh4dow83

    :D nice.

have fun! Im heading downtown too. hehe

  • @mistressladyx well... no berserk in BMV or one million comix and at WBB and beguiling it would've been about 15/19$ after taxes. considering that i can get volumes of that for 11-12$ at amazon, that was quite the disappointing trip...

  • @sh4dow83

    pooop.

  • @mistressladyx pooop indeed ;)

i did find out though that the hairy tarantula has dark horse stuff -10% this month. with that, i was able to get two volumes for about 13-14$. 2$ more for having them instantly is alright for me.

  • @mistressladyx oh and also - at the beguiling, they would've only charged the US price but didn't offer a reduction for a volume that was clearly 2nd hand (yellow edges, marks from bending, worn corners). which isn't exactly a good first impression to me...

  • @sh4dow83

Hairyt - one of my fav shops. especially when they have sales.

as for the beguiling.....wow. thought their manga were all new.

  • im so glad i live close to toronto :3 im going there next week ;) muhahahahah i will buy ALL the manga muhahahah~!

  • @ilovevicmignogna

    lol :D

    your first visit to toronto?

  • @mistressladyx naw its not but its gonna be my first trip to "the worlds biggest book store" tholol so exited yay! XD

  • @ilovevicmignogna

    :D

    your gonna love it.

  • LOL "accept the meat!" xD... god thats a HUGE manga isle. o.o barnes and noble doesnt even have that much O:!. but canadian price is ALOT *-* its like... 12 bucks per book or something right? *-* jesus.

  • @PaulinaH727

lol..ya I went crazy at the end XP

    - ya canadian prices ranges from 10 and up....depending on wha stores you go to

we have actual otaku stores here that sell manga for US cover price which is Great!

I wait for the sales..US cover price + discount..

  • OMG LOL. i live in toronto too. soo many mangas i wish i could buy out all of chapters!

  • @Panpan2Cloe

    LOL

    I agree...

  • The London tubes can be as crowded as that, I refuse to get on the train if you cant see around. I wish my local bookstore had this much manga. The manga section in my local bookstore is about 5% of this. You would laugh if you saw it lol

  • @cutekitty69

    XP

    that sucks!

    - we also have an actual anime/manga shop in toronto but I can't film inside X_X

    I wish I could though...

  • @mistressladyx I wish I could see the shop, ah well. Many shops dont allow people to film in them. I want to go to Toronto now to buy loads of manga and merchandise. :D

  • @cutekitty69

    lol Toronto = manga galore.

ya I wish I could film in it too! V__V

  • lol there is a very VERY small part of the bookstore i go to wheere they hav manga its like 5 shevles and about as wide as the naruto collection there... maybe smaller xD

  • @sailorgemstone

    thats pooop.

    lol

  • @Alyfaasheezy I live in SF and I go to Japan town too !! :D

    Do u live in SF?

  • @AnimeGuruma Yeep! :]

  • UK book prices are even cheaper than the us price (even with exchange rate) horray for me!

  • @patsybob lucky

  • @patsybob where do you get your manga cuz it hard to find manga...........

  • @Zawpi thats the problem, in the uk prices may be cheaper but anime is difficult to find :( i dont buy manga i just watch anime :)

  • I buy my manga from Japantown, SF, Ca.

  • @Alyfaasheezy

    Awsome. :D

  • i think whats crazy is that Fruits Basket books are 10 bucks for a soft cover..and for hard cover its 15 bucks..lol..i seen how some of the canadian prices are on the covers of my mangas..very ridiculous indeed..i really wanna try reading DeathNote..and Bleach..

  • @freakchick21

manga prices are to high in general.. >___<

  • I can relate -_- Canadian here, and I always HATE the Canadian prices on books in comparison to cheap US prices. Btw, I could live at that bookstore *_*

  • @Wander94

Canadian prices are way to expensive.

And I agree....living in that bookstore would be awsome XD

  • im so jealous! Man i wish i lived where you lived! ;3

  • @TheOtakuDream

;) u got nothing over there?

  • @mistressladyx Sure its california ;3 but nothing like THAT! we have the regular barns and nobles, and borders and all that! Still, Manga burns a pretty big hole in my pocket. I try to hold out for conventions and stuff but i just can't! ;3

  • @TheOtakuDream

Do you have shops dedicated to pure manga/anime or aka. otaku--awsomeness? hehe

ya I know what ya mean...manga is pricey! try amazon its a lil cheaper

  • @mistressladyx not that im aware of ._. i'll have to poke around with my friends and see if they know anything ^-^ i'll look around on amazon thanks :3

  • !!uber jealous!!!

I have to travel across on a ferry to get to a place that has one aisle of manga , an aisle thats probs half one of those aisle's

but they do have about 15 aisles of graphic novels and comics to make up for it :P

  • whoa !

    a ferry ! damn lol

  • so much freaking manga! ahhhh!

  • hehe I know...-drool-

  • @mistressladyx my bookstore doesnt have nearly as much manga as that. i hate living in an otaku deadspot!

  • =(

    pooop.

    visit Toronto sometime hehe

  • @mistressladyx LOL. for some sort of reason, POOOP made me crack up really badly.

and dont worry, i'll go to Toronto as soon as i can, and if i do, i'll message u :)

  • lol

    pooop is an epic word.

yay ! you will love Toronto.

  • i spotted Cromartie High manga :D

    heavenly bookstores <33

    the hamster offering 8D
