When was this recorded. It is one of the all time standards. the original is the best. I am involved in a Blues band and the shaps in this song are quite complex
Hearing this made me find my original LP and stick it on the turntable. A great album, and it also brings back lots of memories...great stuff. I also like the Peter Green and Gary Moore versions.
This was recorded for a B.B.C. session I believe. I like it more that the version on Duster's debut album 'Smiling Like I'm Happy'. He did some great stuff on those radio sessions, including superb versions of 'Love Me Like You Can' (which became 'I Want You To Love Me') and 'Worried Mind', also a great rendition of Frank Frost's 'Ride With Your Daddy Tonight'.
Hi 'Sailor' Vernon - I was a friend of Duster's too, between 1970 - 76 - too bad you and I never met!
@paulvernon100 You're very welcome! I've wanted to post it for quite a while, but I just found the CD in my storage boxes. I would have loved to have met Duster Bennett.
GREAT !!!

Thank you for posting this. I knew Duster in London during the 60's and saw him perform several times. An amazing musucian.
