@Mr98giuliano, io penso che è meglio montare corde appositamente trafilate per il cembalo, sia per una questione di varietà di diametri che di qualità del materiale, ciò non toglie che si possano montare anche corde prodotte per altri usi ma in ogni caso al variare delle caratteristiche meccaniche del materiale varia di conseguenza la risposta acustica della corda.

p.s. Quac'uno monta anche corde di budello...

avrei una domanda: esistono le corde per clavicembalo oppure sono corde comuni in acciaio armonico standard?

@Mr98giuliano, la tua domanda non ha una risposta a meno di riformulare la domanda al plurale (clavicembali/acciai);

le corde in ferro puro non esisto ma esistono le leghe ferro carbonio,

l'acciaio povero di C è impropriamente definito ferro e l'acciaio ricco di C è impropriamente definito armonico ma la percentuale del 0,5% di C che separa le due classi è solo una convenzione che chiunque può modificare.

Il vostro cembalo é magnifico e maestoso,con molta "gravität ", anche lunghissimo (mi fa pensare un po' al Antunes portoghese ...). Comprendre un 8' e un 4', mi pare, una disposizione piutosto rara che si poteva trovare qualche voltà su antichi strumenti : l'ha costruitto segondo un modello esistente ?

Grazie per darci un viso un po' altro del cembalo italiano. Altri video di lei venerono benvenuti :)

la risposta sarebbe complessa ma premesso che la copia di un modello storico è sostanzialmente un utopia ci sono tre metodi per fare un cembalo ovvero: copia, ispirato, originale;

questo strumento è un originale del 1986.

that is a really long harpsichord. could you plz tell me how much a O.K clavichord would costs. all the sites ive visted wont say a price because they make them as they get clients and am at a lost what the price range is. thx

I do not sell my instruments for many years, the value of a harpsichord or clavichord is subjective and therefore highly variable, I see that in recent years, there are good opportunities for the instruments used, are also often safer than new ones. ciao

In winter I play only the smaller instruments like the clavichord and the spinet, while the rest harpsichords leave them cold. When the winter is past, I can make a easy piece of Alessandro Scarlatti.
