  • how did you get your nnight vision

  • Tracers give you the ability to have your team mates land their shots exactly on the enemy if you can see them because you have NVG's and your team mates do not. Also you can cause a real distraction to the enemy if tracer guys alone go and flank whilst the rest of your team sneak through the front

  • go to 3:31 for night vision

  • how old do you hav to be

  • @milan118 yeah but I can tell just by sound if my gun is shooting BBs or just dry firing.

  • @milan118 nope. the tracer doesnt glow already. it has to pass through a little flash in the muzzle and then it glows

  • what idiot wraps his head in a glow stick without any sort of mask?

  • Hi, I'm an airsoft player from Canada and will be going to Hong Kong in April. I would like to play a game. Can anyone help a lost soul find the rightful place called an airsoft field in Hong Kong? Oh and I need to rent a gun too....

  • 0:12 tactical toddler

  • Yup. Tracers are very unnecessary. You could just use a tac light and see where your bb's are going.

  • @S33KY if you use a tac like your making it even more obvious where you are. lol

  • What type of night vision was used by that guy?? i am looking to get a set and this type seems to have worked the best, better than IR. So yeah if someone could tell me that would rock

  • ok....how young is the kid in the beginning....is he like 6

  • im a fan of air soft an paint ball its realy fun may be u can watch my vids

  • Okay tracers is a great tool for hardcore realism just look up boe night ambush they have some awesome videos it almost looks real because they play private games were there is no 10 year old kids yelling momie or some noob who where's something a civilian would where. Run on sentence much lol

  • NO ITS REALISTIC CUZ IN A REAL NIGHT GUNFIGHT THE FLASH OF UR GUN GOIN OF GIVES AWAY UR POSITION TO SO I THINK ITS REAL COOL.....

  • @TEXASWEEDMAN1 troll

  • @fallout3wanderer WOW REALLY THATS WAT CAME UP WITH....

  • hey thinkbeforespeaking, i agree with you.

  • Do they have music playing?

  • i wish i could play there. all i have here is tac city airsoft in los angeles

  • are those kids playing?

  • if anyone needs to know wher CQB city is its in stockton,ca

  • To me.... tracers seem pretty pointless, the flashing light gives away your position, the glowing stream of bbs gives away your position, and it is pretty unnecessary since every shooter should know how well his or her gun works, and they should have their gun set up so wherever they shoot is where the bb goes, so it doesn't seem like it would have any value aside from "ooh, tracers"

anyone have a different opinion? Anyone agree?

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Well in the night u cant see any bullets, what if one of ur men get s hit by YOUR bullet? Its more of a saftey precaution than anything.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking maybe not fill up a mag entirely with tracers. Should probably use 1 for every 6 normal bb's.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking wel tracers also light up the enemies position 2 ur squad so if ur in a firefight u just look at your teams tracers.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Tracers are a hell lot of fun to use! especially when your in an open field at night with 10 or more people playing. Not very stealthy but who gives a shit its just a game where fun is the only thing that matters!

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I agree, tracers reveal your position, but,on the other side, they add the game a feeling of..."reality",obviously when you play at night. It is a cool effect but at the same time you are sitting ducks.

    Airsoft ain´t perfect,dude,but I love it anyway.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I totally agree and understand but i think tracers are just cool, it add's even more realism to airsoft, But tracers is a soldiers choice. If I had a tracer tho, i wouldnt use it in a match, only for fun.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking i do agree with that fact that it gives u away. but most of the time we use it to give that sense of realism cause in live fir u can tell were the person is shooting from due to tracers. so that makes u think twice b4 pulling the trigger and that u actually have to set up good coordinated ambushes with ur teammates

  • @thinkbeforespeaking even though that is a valid point the only thing I would say is that how would you have any idea where you are shooting or the range at which you need to take some one out. just because I have had times where I get in a fire fight and my range isn't quite right so I adjust it on the fly when I'm shooting at the enemy and if your bbs didnt glow in the dark how would you be able to do that? how would you know where you are shooting for all you know they could be pullin left

  • @thinkbeforespeaking i agree tracers are pointless they give away your position i know my gun perfectly so i know exactly how to hit someone

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Tracers are used for realism only.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking i think its just cool, but you do have the most important point lol

  • @thinkbeforespeaking

i looks titties though, and you can always just take it off. i know i kinda want one to put on my gas blowback SCAR just because i love realism

  • @thinkbeforespeaking

That's not the point, the point is simulation of a real firefight. Most NATO or SABO rounds have a tracer unit attatched, which makes every other bullet light up, allowing you to visually guide your shots.

Airsoft is just trying to emulate this, is all. Normally otherwise, you wouldn't see a single round flying at you, in real life or in airsoft.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I agree, however, if you are separated from the rest of your squad and would like them to fire on a a target, it is a whole lot easier to shoot at it and have them follow your tracers than to have to explain where it is. Also, a stream of tracers is impractical and stupid, the correct mix for tracers is 3 to 1, (3 times as many standard bb's as there are tracers) so as to have a few highlighted and not the whole thing. Finally, tracers can have a major affect on your oponent

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I disagree. When we use them, everyone has a Tracer unit. It seems and feels more epic that way. Esspecially for video playback. If your the only person using a tracer unit then yeah, that

is pretty pointless. If everyone is using a tracer unit then....different story. Too each his own I guess though.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking when you are playing in night your sights and scopes doesnt work, even the iluminated scopes, i used one and just flash you and block your vision, if you dont have night sights the tracers are the best option

  • @thinkbeforespeaking you just cant afford one. cuz they may give you position away but if ur gunna camp u can just switch it off. if you dont camp you can really mess with people cuz theyll go and attack where you shot from not knowing you moved

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Well, if you're gonna give away your position you might as well make it as pretty as possible.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking You can't exactly be too accurate unless you know where you're shooting, now can you? As for the whole detection part, if everyone is using them then it's pretty balanced.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking definetly disagree, how do you think a bullet tracer round works, pretty much the exact same concept, gives away your position, but gives u the ability to see where your rounds are impacting at night, just like in airsoft, pretty sure u wont see where your bbs impact at night w/o a tracer bb. think-before-speaking. lol

  • @thinkbeforespeaking the guy shooting can see were his tracers end up

    just like real live war

it also gives away ur position ofcourse

but atleast you see were you shoot and what ur shooting at

    whats ur point?

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Real firearms use tracers too, and with the same disadvantages - and trust me, they know how their guns work. So are you implying the military shoudl ditch tracer rounds?

  • @thinkbeforespeaking CQB lights seem pretty pointless, people can see your torch, people can see your BBs and now they can see your BBs even better with your light on them. Let's ditch torches and white BBs and just get black ones.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I disagree for the sole purpose of airsoft battles at night. It is SO AMAZING when a battle erupts with tracers in the pitch dark of night. It just looks cool, and as long as everybody else uses tracers, you're not at any disadvantage that the enemy isn't.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking The point of tracers is to replicate how a real gun has muzzle flash and at night they just look damn cool

  • @thinkbeforespeaking i total adgree like ooh look at me, there usless exect for target shooting

  • @thinkbeforespeaking friendlies see where the hostiles are, you see where you're shooting (helpful at long ranges)also when performing and ambush it's intimidating when they see the amount of stuff flying towards them and the "ooh tracers" effect ofc...

  • @thinkbeforespeaking i agree with you except that if you play with dishonest people they normally wont call their hits in the dark thinking that nobody will have seen where there shot went but if you play with people who respect the game then yeah tracers are pointless but still fun as hell to watch

  • @thinkbeforespeaking I agree...kind of. But since I will most likely be running PVS-14s soon, I can see myslef running tracers for 2 reasons.

    1. ITS COOL

    2. Theyre already outgunned, might as well go ahead and let them know where they got raped from.

  • @thinkbeforespeaking They Just Offer A Cool Factor And Like You Said They show where your bbs are going and to really give away that someone got hit. But All In All It's Just A Cool Thing To have

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Use them before you make a decision on how useful they are. I personally love using tracer units. The biggest upside is shooting at cheaters. They can't deny it when you can see glowing bright BBs flying off their chest.

Also, if tracers were useless they wouldn't use them in real life right?

  • @thinkbeforespeaking pretty much useless unless everyone is using them... then its just plain epic

  • @thinkbeforespeaking Tracer are CRAZY awesome through NODs....you just have to see it.

  • i like those tracer rounds

  • were was this played?

  • 0:53 tracer woohooo im getting one on monday hell yeah!

  • Dang look at me getting lots of face time. 1:20-2:20 woot woot

    Good job dude

  • dude i love the game called zombies its hella fun :)

  • nice vid. hopefully ill be back on that field soon

  • nice game and the night vison was really good

  • the night vison was awesome. how did you do it? dose your camera have it built in? or did you have the lens looking through something? i also want to make it out to a night op.

I just cant get over how bad it would be with people not calling hits....

  • some one brought night vision to the game and let cqb city use it to film
