I know Ieyasu kills him in the game, but doesn't Date do it in the anime? If so I like it better that way cause Ieyasu and Mitsunari both suck. I think the games storyline took a turn for the worse when they tried to replace Date and Yukimura as the two main guys with those clowns. Ieyasu is too soft and Mitsunari is too bitchy.

He generally thinks things through quickly and understands (to a degree) the depth of his choices. He just doesn't voice it like other anime characters until he constantly gets berated about it. The thing he understands the least is his power. Yukimura on the other hand simply thinks "Good will win out" as if he is some super hero. But war is hardly ever just good vs evil.
