  • wow thats amazing! it would take VERY long to train your bird to do that! also it would take a very long time to gain enough trust in your bird to do it!

  • Searching for amazon my friend told me in punjab, india he saw a man selling different types of parrot at very cheap prices. After some days i am going over there maybe he would be having amazon parrot.

  • I love the landing very beautiful bird.Amazon parrot s are the best and my favourite but here in india they are very expensive. What price did your bird?

  • I live in Portugal, Europe. The price is 800 - 1000 euros. I hope you can buy a baby parrot and train him to free fly.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • They are very reliable, they (now they are 2 amazons) have no intention to separate from their "human flock". But you must begin with a fledgeling and learn about free flight and training. Go to freeflight list in Yahoo.

  • Very beautiful. (:

But.. what if it didn't fly back? And just.. left?

  • That was so sweet

  • Thank you. Free flight is very rewarding for birds and owners but we must train them before.

  • aren't u afraid of some hawks?

  • Hi

In that place there are big but hamless buzzards and small but dangerous kestrels and merlins. The amazons are very careful to check the sky before flying and hide in trees when they appear. They were chased by kestrels some times. They hided and came back later.

    Merry Christmas!

  • How do you tran your birds from not leaving?

  • I train them with positive reinforcement method. Go to freeflight list on Yahoo and ask for advice.

  • I like the way you have your parrot.

    Congrats

  • Genial!! Assim vale apena :) parabéns mais uma vez!!

  • Obrigada!

  • Beautiful bird, great video. How did you train your parrot to do that??

  • Thank you, now he has a companion and is flying wonderfully, doing very acrobatic flights! I trained him with positive reinforcement, following the advice of Chris Biro, from the Yahoo free flight list. It is easier and safer to begin with a baby parrot.

  • oiga desculpe me podria desir como entreno el lorro you tambien tengo unos de conures a tucanes gracias

  • Wonderful. You must have a lot of trust. I'm amazed how well she flies. I've always thought of Amazons as rather heavy awkward fliers.

  • Thank you. Baby is a male. Amazons can fly very well and it allows them to keep the right weight.

  • Thank you!

  • Nice to see you keep your bird fly free. Sad to see birds in cages.

  • wow beautiful!!

  • great video and I've rated it as five stars. Please check out mine on some 1930's trading cards of aviary and cage birds.

  • Thank you; I am going to check yours.

  • Beautiful! I do enjoy watching it.

  • Thank you!
