Hi! I am a new fan of James Dean and I am wondering if anyone feels similarly about something? I hate seeing pictures of the crash, yet they seem to appear suddenly on documentary and you tube tributes. I am a sensitive person and they upset me. Does anyone else feel this way?

having seen some without warning, yet not able to look closely, I am afraid I saw something I don't want to see - is James Dean visible in the crash photo lying on the ground or is that his mechanic Rolf?

@RussianDivas The guy lying on the ground was the mechanic Rolf. He was thrown from the car. Dean was still in the mangled car draped over the passenger side. I don't think there is a picture of this. If there is I don't think it will be shown. According to some reports Dean's face was covered with dirt and blood. I don't mean to be graphic but thats what was said when the guy saw him. Like you I'm a new fan as well. I just starting to get to know who he was and became fascinated with his story.
