It happens a number of times not just at OSU but at any university. its kids ages 18-22 yea they are going to get in trouble. its to coachs job to discipline them. U might have to sit down half of your starters. u might lose a game cuz of it, but playing football is a privilge. they knew about what the OSU players did but still let them play, when they shouldnt have. I heard that last time and look what happen. 41-14. really should have been 41-7 there was a missed holding call on the kill off. ohio state had 82 yards of total offense that night. that year ohio state won every big ten game in a blow out, and florida's sec games were won by 7 points or less. so vandy and kentucky put up more of a fight then ohio state. yea we lost to kentucky last time we played them in basketball, but also beat them this year.

Second, they had an extra week to recover from injuries, while UF had to play a tough, physical game against Bama--that's an advantage. Third, OSU coaches had an extra week to prepare, put in trick plays, etc.

I wish Ginn hadn't gotten hurt (celebrating, lol), but he wouldn't have made much of a difference.

And OSU still had the Heisman winner at QB and Gonzalez, Hartline, Pittman, Wells, etc. (I remember OSU fans telling me before the game that they had 3 or 4 WRs better than anyone on the Gators' squad--ha!) And yet they only produced 82 yards of offense, even though the entire second half was garbage time. Ginn couldn't do much when Smith was running (slowly) for his life on every play.
